Ike Haxton opened for 18,000 from the hijack only to have David Peters three-bet all in for roughly 135,000 from the button. Paul Newey then called off for 119,000 from the small blind, Haxton folded, and Peters discovered he was in dire straits.

A few hands later, Peters committed for 22,000 holding the and Thomas Muehloecker isolated with a raise to 36,000 from the cutoff with the . The fishhooks held after the board ran out , and Peters made his way to the exit in the closing minutes of Level 10.
Meanwhile, John Andress was also eliminated from the tournament over at Table 1.

After Shaun Deeb opened for 16,000 under the gun, Andre Akkari three-bet all in for 113,000 one seat over. Anthony Zinno flatted from the button, both blinds folded, and Deeb got out of the way.

Antonio Buonanno opened to 18,000 from middle position and action folded to Daniel Dvoress in the small blind. The Run It Once instructor moved in for his last 105,000 and Vladimir Troyanovskiy folded from the big blind. Buonanno tanked for a bit and made the call for most of his chips.

Things were looking good for Dvoress, but that wouldn't last: . Buonanno back doored into a flush and eliminated Dvoress. "I had two spades" Troyanivskiy said to worsen things, but Dvoress didn't seem to fazed by all of it as he calmly left the table.
