Vladimir Troyanovskiy raised to 24,000 from the hijack and then called when Quan Zhou, who started the day as chip leader, three-bet to 66,000 from the small blind. Both players checked the flop, and then Zhou bet 58,000 on the turn. Troyanovskiy called and then made a quick call when Zhou bet 170,000 on the river.
Zhou tabled the for the flopped straight, and it was good as Troyanovskiy sent his cards to the muck.

We saw Shaun Deeb making a hasty exit from the tournament area, and a quick check with his former table confirmed he'd just bitten the dust. According to Mike McDonald, it happened when Deeb raised from the cutoff and Juha Helppi three-bet from the small blind. Deeb four-bet all in with offsuit, Helppi called with , and the fishhooks held to send Deeb to the rail.
Meanwhile, EPT10 Grand Final champ Antonio Buonanno was also eliminated from the tournament.

With rough 90,000 in the pot and four players to the flop, Andrew Chen checked from the big blind and Jason Mercier bet 37,000 from middle position. Sam Greenwood flatted from the hijack, Ramin Hajiyev folded the cutoff, and Chen called to see the turn.
Chen checked again, Mercier bet 56,000, and Greenwood thought for a long time before moving all in for 156,000 total. Chen folded, and Mercier called with the , which was behind Greenwood's . The river was the wrong paint card for Mercier, and he watched the pot pushed over to Greenwood.

Piotr Franczak opened the button for 26,000 and Michael Rocco in the big blind called. The flop came and Rocco checked. Franczak made a bet of 30,000 and was soon facing a check raise to 82,000. Franckzak moved all in, but we couldn't count for how much it exactly was as Rocco called just about instantly and the cards went on their backs.
Piotr Franczak:
Michael Rocco:
The on the turn brought the Pole some additional outs but the on the river wasn't one of them. Franczak, who finished 6th in this event in Season 11's €25,000 High Roller, hit the rail in 38th place while Rocco now plays 80 big blinds.

In the last hand before the break, [Removed:17] was eliminated from the tournament at the hands of Frenchman Sylvain Loosli.
We picked up the action on the turn with roughly 300,000 already in the pot and a board reading . Loosli moved all in, and Yan snap-called off for 194,000.
Loosli:
Yan:
It was a good call by Yan, who was ahead with top pair; however, Loosli held an open-ended straight draw with a flush draw to boot. The river gave Yan two pair, but it was no good as it also completed Loosli's straight.
