Dmitry Yurasov has just emerged as massive chip leader early on after an already impressive start. He made it 700 from under the gun, Angel Guillen three-bet to 2,200 and all opponents folded. The Russian clicked it back to 5,300 and Guillen called. On the flop, Yurasov fired 4,400 and was called by the Team PokerStars Pro.
After the turn, Yurasov barreled for 9,200 and Guillen called once more. The on the river saw the final barrel of Yurasov worth 18,400 and now Guillen moved all in for 53,350. The Russian pondered about his decision for a good two minutes before electing to call and it was a good one.

The European Poker Tour Season 10 Player of the Year race is on, and as we've mentioned before it's a heated affair between current leader Ole Schemion and Team PokerStars Pro Vanessa Selbst. The latter has stated her intention to capture the title by playing as much as possible here in Sanremo and upcoming in Monte Carlo. We'll have to wait and see how it pans out.
As you know players have been accumulating points in all events throughout Season 10, regardless of the buy-in level. In addition, all of the Festival Events (Estrellas, UKIPT, Eureka, FPS, IPT) that combine with an EPT tour stop have been eligible for Player of the Year points. The winner of this season’s award will walk away with €50,000 in Main Event buy-ins, good for any PokerStars or Full Tilt sponsored event.

He was already short stacked in this high roller event and started the last hand with an effective stack of 10,600. Steve O'Dwyer raised to 3x = 900 from under the gun and Lacay called, so did two other players including Angel Guillen in the big blind.
The disaster for the Frenchman emerged on the flop when he spiked top pair and top kicker with the . Guillen in the big blind held for bottom two pair and that did the job after two blanks on the turn and river.
With 3,000 or so in the pot and a board reading , Giuliano Bendinelli bet 1,525 from the big blind and Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier called from the under-the-gun position.
