Huge Double Up for Negreanu

Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu just tested the run good of Justin Bonomo by getting involved in a massive flip.

From under the gun, Negreanu raised to 52,000 and Bonomo three-bet to 130,000 from the next seat. Action folded back to Negreanu and he four-bet to 265,000 with 528,000 behind. Bonomo moved all in and Negreanu made the call, creating a pot of over 1.6 million in chips.

Negreanu: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Bonomo: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}

The flop, turn and river ran out {6-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Negreanu's queens held up.

Squeeze Easy Friends

Nível 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

After the hand last, the tournament staff swapped out the deck. This has been the third deck in 15 minutes for the table due to markings. It's not because someone is deliberately marking cards, but because when you squeeze the EPT decks with the slightest nail pressure, a small crease or marking develops on the backs on the cards.

I Wanna Eat You Up

Fresh from taking the scalp of Max Lykov, Daniel Negreanu raised to 44,000 in the cutoff. Artem Litvinov was seated in the big blind and pulled a coin out of his pocket, placed it on his fingertip and stared at it.

"Flip, flip, flip," said Negreanu.

Litvinov did flipped his coin and when it landed on the palm of his hand he moved his chips into the middle of the table - he was all in.

"Remember when I promised I would eat you..maybe this is the time…but I don't have a great hand…its suited though," said Negreanu. Then talking to the dealer he said, "Can you pull the 44,000 in for this old mans brain…I like this hand…it looks so good…i wanna call…if you have ace-king it's ok."

With that Litvinov tells Negreanu that he doesn't have ace-king and instead he has a pair of tens. Negreanu calls immediately and Litvinov was telling porky pies.

Litvinov{A-Clubs} {10-Spades}
Negreanu{Q-Clubs} {J-Clubs}

Board: {K-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {8-Hearts}

Litvinov yelled out in jubilation before hugging and kissing his good lady on the rail.

"When we get heads-up…you can eat me then," said Litvinov.

Max Lykov Eliminated in 8th Place (€100,000)

Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu opened to 44,000, on the button, and fellow stablemate Max Lykov moved all in from the big blind.

"Good luck," said Negreanu as he made the immediate call.

Negreanu: {A-Diamonds} {10-Clubs}
Lykov: {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}

Flop: {A-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {3-Clubs}

Negreanu's gesture seemingly going unnoticed by the poker gods as he moved into the lead.

Turn: {9-Clubs} & River: {2-Diamonds}

"Sorry Max," said Negreanu.

Lykov wasn't listening, he just got up and left the table.

Schwartz Doubles Through Schoo

The hand immediately after Noah Schwartz paid off Igor Kurganov he decided to move all-in from mid-position for 203,000. Next to act was Nathan Schoo and he also moved all in. The action folded around to Justin Bonomo in the big blind and he asked for a count of Schoo's stack. The dealer did her job and informed Bonomo that it was 437,000. Bonomo went through the permutations but eventually folded.

Schwartz{J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}
Schoo{9-Clubs} {9-Hearts}

Board: {7-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {7-Diamonds}

So Schwartz doubled up and Bonomo tells the table he folded pocket eights.

"When you are considering calling because you are running so good, then you know you have to fold the hand," said Bonomo.

Schwartz Pays Kurganov the Rent

Noah Schwartz raised to 45,000 in the cutoff and Igor Kurganov called in the small blind. The flop was {K-Hearts} {6-Spades} {4-Hearts} and both players checked. On the turn we saw the {9-Diamonds} and Kurganov decided to lead with a bet of 74,000 and Schwartz called.

The action card was the {9-Diamonds} on the river. Kurganov bet 162,000, which was half of the Schwartz stack. Schwartz counted out the call, murmured to himself, performed several hand gestures that Italian soccer players would be proud of, pinched his bottom lip and when he released it the words, "call," fell out.

"I have king-queen," said Kurganov and Noah Schwartz's hand flew into the muck
