2020 Aussie Millions
A bigger pot of 12,500 had already emerged and Joshua McSwiney, a recent finalist of an 2020 Aussie Millions event, pushed for an effective 17,175 on the river. His sole remaining opponent was Hiroyuki Noda who was covered by some 3,000, and the Japanese went deep into the tank before folding.
Noda and Kitty Kuo urged McSwiney to show his cards, with the former guessing it was either six-five or jack-ten for a straight. McSwiney obliged and tabled kings for top set.

A disgusted Sergio Cavaiuolo walked away from the table to take a short break even though he already knew he was not eliminated, however, his stack had taken a major hit in a clash with Paawan Bansal.
As one might guess, with all of the chips going in the second level, it was a setup as both players had flopped a set on the board and Bansal ended up doubling for 25,200 to leave Cavaiuolo with a fraction of what he started with,

Jeff Madsen raised to 450 from early position and Jin Ho flatted on the button. Jan Suchanek joined them from the small blind and the dealer rolled out a flop of . Madsen continued for 700 and only Ho paid the price.
The turn filled the flush draw and Madsen slowed down, checking. Ho fired 1,800 and Madsen called. The hit the river and Madsen checked again. Ho cut out a bet of 3,500 and Madsen tanked for over two minutes.
"What could you be bluffing with? I guess ace-queen," Madsen mumbled for himself, staring at the board. Then he rolled up his sleeves and then called.
Ho showed and Madsen learned he didn't have the best hand.
