Buglion Riding the Roller Coaster

Nível 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
John Buglion
John Buglion

After the previous three-way all in, John Buglion dropped back to less than starting stack and got into yet another three-way situation. A raise to 900 by the cutoff was called by the small blind and Buglion tossed in the extra 500 chips with the {K-Spades}{8-Spades} out of the big blind. The flop came {K-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{X-} and the top two of the American turned into a check-raise all in.

Both opponents came along, but {A-Hearts}{K-} and {Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} failed to get there to see a triple up for Buglion. "Just how tournaments go," the American added.

Some Cleaning Up

Nível 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Gerald Karlic's roller coaster saw him getting the rest of it in with a flip and he headed to the rail. The seats of Jesse Kertland and Raj Ramakrishnan are also empty, the latter three-bet jammed for 6,500 with pocket sixes into the pocket aces of Rahul Rastogi. Oliver Gill has taken his seat and Daniel Laidlaw entered the competition just before the end of registration.

Glazier Pushes into Levy

Nível 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

After the heads-up flop of {6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Daniel Levy led for 900 and faced the raise to 2,100 by Jackie Glazier. Levy called and checked the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn and Glazier immediately pushed all in for 3,575. Levy asked for a quick count and then folded, leaving himself with slightly less than two times the starting stack.

Don Mishra of Singapore is doing even better with almost three times of the initial stack.

The Polite Australians

Nível 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

With a pot of around 7,500 chips until the river of a board {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{10-Hearts}, Julian Stuer grabbed his stack of big denominations and slid it forward to the middle of the table. His opponent, one of the local players, let out an "very lucky river for you, Sir," whereas most other nationalities would have used a different wording.

Ultimately, the Australian ended up folding and Stuer checked both his hole cards before sending them into the muck.

One table over, Matt Salsberg won a smaller pot off Jack Salter to also increase his stack slightly as well. Salsberg had bet 2,550 on the river of an ace-high board and his {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} won the pot, Salter mucked.

Buglion Dodges One Over Card in Three Way All In

Nível 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

"Come on, give me a seven!" the player in the big blind demanded from the dealer. It was a three-way all in with two short stacks at risk, the player in the big blind holding {5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The other shortie had pocket fours and John Buglion called with {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. The American, originally hailing from New York but living here in Australia for one year, dodged all outs of the opponents on the board {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Rusiecki in Charge

Nível 6 : 200/400, 50 ante
Connor Rusiecki
Connor Rusiecki

Connor Rusiecki had already eliminated at least one of his table mates and took out another opponent with pocket aces versus pocket jacks. It all went in after a dry low flop and the opponent failed to hit one of the two remaining outs. Rusiecki has increased the stack to about four times already and is among the current chip leaders.
