After a three-way flop of , there was a bet of 750 by a player in early position and Fred Ranchhod min-raised to 1,500. The player in the big blind, who had been very active early on, now squeezed to 5,000 and the action was folded to Ranchhod. He moved all in for another 4,750 on top and was paid off for the following showdown:

Matt Salsberg hasn't been playing too much poker as of lately and barely traveled, but the former American World Poker Tour winner came over to Melbourne and registered for flight 2 of the Opening Event. His Twitter game has been strong ever since with plenty of activity and controversy, though.

The second of four Day 1 flights for the 2016 Aussie Millions opening event will kick off inside the Crown Exhibition Hall across the street from the Crown Poker Room just minutes from now.
Wednesday's first flight drew some 160 players with 26 surviving through to Day 2 and even more are expected this evening.
Players will begin with 10,000 chips and plans to play twelve 40-minute levels with a short break after every three. Registration is open through the first six levels. As a repechage event, players can re-enter any of the remaining flights if they bust out.
