Korkmaz Bets Out Shumeiko in Massive Pot

Koray Korkmaz raised to 160,000 in the cutoff and Yehor Shumeiko called in the small blind.

The flop came 5♣9♥3♥ and Korkmaz continued for 150,000. Shumeiko then raised to 480,000 and Korkmaz called.

Shumeiko bet another 550,000 on the 8♦ turn and Korkmaz gave it some thought before calling. The river was the 8♠ and Shumeiko slowed down and checked.

Korkmaz spent a minute counting out his stack before sliding in a tower of blue 25,000 chips for a bet of 500,000. Shumeiko's cards instantly hit the muck.

Rajkovic quickly called and Miadzel turned over A♥3♥ for trip aces to win the pot.

Schauman had 7♠7♥ and was flipping against A♣J♦. Schauman managed to hold and took the pot with a set following the K♦7♦Q♣5♦J♠ board.

The following hand, Otto Lemke opened to 125,000 from the button and Schauman defended his big blind.

Action checked through to showdown for the final board to read 10♠7♠6♠10♦8♥. Schauman tabled Q♥10♥ for trips and took in the pot.

In a blind versus blind battle, Tobias Garp bet 60,000 on a flop of 8♣A♣9♦ and Koray Korkmaz called.

The turn came the 6♦ and Garp fired out another 255,000. Korkmaz again called and the 10♥ fell on the river. Garp this time bet 725,000.

Korkmaz agonized over the decision for several minutes before giving up his hand as Garp extended his chip lead.

Alexander Romme opened to 120,000 from the cutoff. Ercan Atmaca and Tobias Garp called from the blinds.

Atmaca led out for 150,000 on the Q♦8♥3♥ flop and only Garp called.

Atmaca sized up to 250,000 on the 10♣ turn and was called again.

Atmaca then moved all in for around 700,000 on the 4♥ river and was quickly called.

Atmaca had KxQx for a pair of queens but it was no good as Garp had a flush with J♥10♥.

Atmaca takes home €4,430 for his deep run. He'll also be one of the big winners on the day, thanks to him pulling one of the €30,000 mystery bounty prizes.
