Sammartino Continues to Bleed Chips

Nils Pudel opened to 200,000 with K♦J♦ from under the gun, and Dario Sammartino called with 10♦7♦ from the big blind.
Sammartino outflopped Pudel as he paired up on the 10♥9♦5♠. He check-called for 280,000 and then improved to two pair on the 7♥ turn. Sammartino bet 225,000 and was called with his double gutter, which came in on the Q♥ river.
Sammartino checked and Pudel fired out 1,300,000. Sammartino was unable to get away from his hand and Pudel continued to add misery to the Italian.

Michael Rocco raised to 225,000 on the button and Lachezar Petkov defended his big blind.
The flop came J♣6♠9♠ and Rocco continued for 300,000. Petkov called to the A♥ turn, where Rocco bet another 1,000,000.
Petkov again called and the 4♥ fell on the river. Rocco then moved all in for 2,640,000.
Petkov asked for a count, then leaned back on his chair with his hands over his head as he tanked for a minute before calling. He showed A♠Q♠ for a pair of aces, but Rocco turned over 6♣6♥ for a set of sixes.
Petkov's stack was counted out and he had about 2,500,000 remaining. Rocco barely had him covered and Petkov was sent to the rail in 15th place.
