Rozhanovskyi Snaps Off Persson

Heads-up on a flop of 2♣4♣10♥, Kalle Persson bet 8,000 from the button and Borys Rozhanovskyi called in the cutoff.

The turn came the 6♠ and Persson bet another 20,000. Rozhanovskyi again called and the 5♣ fell on the river.

Persson then moved all in for around 15,000 more and Rozhanovskyi practically beat him into the pot, showing K♣6♣ for a rivered flush. Persson showed A♥A♠ before heading for the exit.

Day 1b chip leader Levan Rcheulishvili is also at this table and has slightly increased his chip stack so far today.

Cappiello Earns Back Some Chips

Candido Cappiello had lost a big portion of his stack earlier while Anson Tsang doubled and the latter was then in the big blind, facing the open raise to 3,600 by Ramzi Zuraikat. Cappiello three-bet to 9,000 and Tsang let go, while Zuraikat called.

On the K♦K♣2♣ flop, Zuraikat check-called for 5,000 and checked again the A♣ turn. Cappiello now bet 8,000 and that won the pot uncontested,

Peffly Chips Up With Aggression

Hossein Ensan made it 3,500 to go and Leon Sturm on the button then three-bet to 11,000. Alex Peffly in the big blind four-bet to 30,500, which sent Ensan into the tank. The WSOP Main Event champion eventually folded and Sturm came to the same conclusion.

Since the start of the day, Peffly has already chipped up significantly while Sturm remains one of the big stacks in the room.

Bojovic opted to preserve the 73,000 he had behind and folded.

Petkov Cracks Eller's Aces on the River

Heads-up on a flop of 9♦J♣10♦ and already around 40,000 in the middle, Andreas Eller bet another 40,000 from under the gun and Lachezar Petkov called in the big blind.

The turn came the 5♠ and Eller moved all in for 51,000. Petkov gave the decision some thought before committing the chips, turning over 7♦6♦ for straight and flush draws. Eller had A♠A♣ and needed to hold on to survive.

The river brought the 4♦ and Petkov completed his flush to send Eller to the rail as he scooped up the massive pot.

Saliba Gets Into Trouble With Fresh Stack

Vivian Saliba was one of the players who made a fresh entry in the first level of Day 2, and she was involved in a blind-on-blind battle with Ruslan Volkov. The pot had 30,600 chips in it when both players checked the board of A♦10♥5♣9♦. The 4♥ river then completed the board and Saliba checked once again from the small blind.

Volkov put out a bet of 19,000, and Saliba thought it over for a few minutes before putting in the required amount for a call. Volkov tabled A♠2♥ for top pair with no kicker, and he raked in the pot when Saliba mucked her cards with visible frustration.

Dressler Wins Four-Bet Pot Against Marrone

The 10♠8♠3♦ flop saw Marrone continue for 10,000 and Dressler called. Both checked the 10♥ turn and Marrone tank-checked the 10♦ river. Dressler moved all-in for around 76,000 and forced a fold.

Klar, Pagliazzo Find Doubles

Francis Klar and Christophe Sanchez built a pot of around 50,000 as they went heads-up to the river on a board of 3♣3♦A♦9♣4♠. Klar then moved all in for 35,000 in early position.

"I think your kicker is better than mine," Sanchez said as he tanked from the big blind. He eventually called and turned over A♣7♣, but his instincts proved correct as Klar showed A♠K♣ to earn the pot and double up.

At the same time at another table, Axel Junker bet 4,000 from the button on a flop of 7♠2♦2♠ before Francesco Pagliazzo moved all in for 31,000 in early position. Junker called to put him at risk.

The 9♠ fell on the turn to give Junker two pair, but it wasn't enough to overcome Pagliazzo's aces as the 10♦ completed the board and Pagliazzo doubled up with a better two pair.
