The players are on a fifteen minute break
2011 World Series of Poker Europe
Dermot Blain has just taken the last pot prior to the break on the feature table. We joined the action on the flop - - Dermot Balin checked out of the small blind, Chris Moorman bet 90,000 in the big blind and the original raiser Max Silver made the cold-call. Action back on the man from Dublin and he check-raised to 350,000 forcing both players from the UK to fold.
Shawn Buchanan made a raise to 50,000 from early position and Chris Moorman three-bet to 113,000 in the cut-off. Jake Cody was seated in the small blind and he perked up a bit and seemed very interested in the action. He eventually decided that he wanted to join in and made a four-bet to 235,000 and everyone directed their attention at Buchanan. Buchanan decided to call, Moorman folded and we had a half a million pot going to the flop. The played checked down to the river on a board of and Cody decided to eventually break that sequence of events when he bet 350,000 and after a few moments hesitation Buchanan folded.

We're not sure if he won another pot in the meantime or if we just didn't count him down very well after the encounter with Andy Moseley. However it happened, Elio Fox is actually up to 1.25 million now, and chips are really flying around that outer table this level.
There are about eight minutes until the break.

In a two-hand series, Andy Moseley has given all his chips to Elio Fox.
In the first hand, Fox was the one who was short, and he shoved his last 342,000 chips into the middle with . He seemed content to flip for double or nothing when Moseley looked him up with , and the board gave Fox the double.
That left Moseley very short on chips, and he got them all in very soon thereafter. It was he doing the shoving with , and Fox called him down with . The board rolled out , and Moseley could not catch up.
It's the end of the road for one of the Brits, sent quietly to the rail in 13th place. He'll walk away with €53,000 tonight.

Four players at the featured table took a flop, the most we've seen in a pot today. The dealer gave them to work with, and it checked around to the button. There, Jake Cody fired at the pot with 85,000, and Max Silver check-raised to 205,000 from the small blind. That folded Shawn Buchanan and Dermot Blain out of the way, but Cody called, and it was heads up to the turn. Silver bet another 325,000, and Cody thought it over long and hard before calling once again. With a huge pot already in the middle of the table, the two men were content to check through the river.
It turned out to be the card they both wanted. Silver showed up for the pair of queens, but Cody's had that out-kicked. He'll drag a big pot here, and it appears to move him into the chip lead!

Arnaud Mattern started today as one of the short stacks but he now has some chips to play some poker and seems to be enjoying himself.
We caught the action on a flop of and Elio Fox bet 75,000 from the cut-off and Mattern called on the button. The turn was the and Fox fired his second barrel of 125,000 and Mattern made what looked like a very easy call. The river was the and both players checked.
"Queen high," said Elio.
Mattern turned over and Fox showed . Mattern takes down another pot.

... but we were scrambling around with the action on the secondary table. On the main table, though, Chris Moorman and Max Silver played a rather large pot heads up. The board ended up reading , and it looked like Moorman was leading the betting on the flop and turn. Silver bet the river, though, and Moorman paid it off.
The chip leader showed for the set, and it will improve his already dominant position. Moorman lost a big chunk to drop down under 1.1 million, and Silver should be over 3 million now, but we'll have to try and get a better count in a moment.
