The flop was {7-Spades}{a-Spades}{6-Clubs} and it was checked to the player on the button who moved all in. There was a call from the player in the small blind before Neng Lee in the big blind raised to 38,000. The player in the small called after some brief chip confusion.

Both players checked the {3-Clubs} turn, and on the {j-Clubs} river the player in the small blind looked like he was going to check, but before his hand could tap the felt he reached back for chips and bet 40,000.

Lee seemed unsure what to make of the bet but eventually he paid it off. The player in the small blind showed {5-Spades}{4-Spades} for the turned straight. Lee took a beat to process the hand and then threw his cards at his opponent’s stack. They bounced off face down, and as there was an all-in the dealer showed his {a-Spades}{2-Spades},

The all-in player had flopped a set with his {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} but he too couldn’t beat a straight.

Russo Gets Action on His Aces

A player under the gun raised to 10,000 and another player in late position called. Stephen Russo was on the button and three-bet to 35,000. The under-the-gun player moved all in for roughly 65,000. The caller folded and Russo called.

The board ran out {4-Spades}{10-Hearts}{k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades} and Russo got the elimination and chipped up nicely.

Troy Sprungl With Seven-Deuce

Troy Sprungl has just busted a player holding seven-deuce and he recounted the action for us.

There was a raise and a call before Sprungl came along in the big blind holding {7-}{2-}. The flop was {3-}{4-}{6-},

Action was checked to the raiser who bet 16,000. That got one fold but Sprungl came along with his gutshot.

The turn was the {5-} and a check from Sprungl saw his opponent shove and the straight of Sprungl with the worst starting hand in poker thinned the field by one more.
