Bertrand Grospellier raised to 250,000 from the cutoff, Scott Seiver three-bet shoved from the big blind for 2,580,000, and Grospellier snap-called.

"Really, man?" asked Seiver.

Grospellier tabled {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}.

"Jesus Christ," sighed Seiver, as he showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}.

The board came down {Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}, not enough help to Seiver, ending his tournament in 14th place.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, and both players checked.

Sammartino Calls Clock on Hellmuth

Nível 19 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth, starting with a stack of 1.4 million, opened under the gun for 250,000. Big blind Dario Sammartino defended and check-called a bet of 175,000 on the {6-Clubs}{A-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop.

The {9-Hearts} hit the turn, and Sammartino led out for 175,000. Hellmuth pondered for just a few seconds before he called.

As the {4-Clubs} completed the board, Sammartino jammed. Hellmuth sat there silently for about a minute before he said, "Man, I almost pushed it in on the turn. I can't remember the last time I had so many outs."

Sammartino wasn't having any of it and instantly called for the clock. The floor came over, listened to Hellmuth explain he hadn't even thought about it for a minute, and gave the Poker Brat some more time.

Hellmuth eventually folded, claiming to have had {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}.

The action folded around to Dario Sammartino in the small blind who looked over at Phil Hellmuth and his stack before moving all in.

"Let's flip together," said Hellmuth in the big blind, who turned over the {j-Spades} and the {a-Spades} and committied his remaining 780,000.

Sammartino showed his {k-Spades}{4-Spades} before both players watched the board run out {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}.

Hellmuth improved to a pair of jacks on the flop, earning him the pot and the double-up.

Robl Doubles Through Sammartino

Nível 19 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

From middle position, Andrew Robl opened for 250,000, and Dario Sammartino three-bet to 640,000 from the cutoff. The button and both blinds folded, and Robl called after thinking about it for a bit.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{7-Spades}, and Robl checked. Sammartino bet 650,000, and Robl answered with a shove for 2,580,000 total. Sammartino didn't appear to be the happiest guy in the world calling, but he did so just about instantly.

Andrew Robl: {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}
Dario Sammartino: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}

The {6-Clubs} on the turn and {8-Spades} on the river were blanks, and Robl doubled.

No Dinner Break

Nível 19 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Change of plans: There's not going to be a dinner break. Tournament Director Jack Effel came over to inform the players that action would just continue until just nine players remain instead of going on a dinner break in 60 minutes.
