Hand #1: In the first hand of the day, Marton Czuczor raised under the gun to 120,000. Chip leader Andres Korn called from middle position before the action got to Sergio Cabrera on the button.

The Spaniard shoved for 885,000 and both blinds folded quickly. Czuczor didn't need much time either and tossed his cards into the muck just as quick. Korn asked for a count and called.

Cabrera: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Korn: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, doing not much for Cabrera. He picked up some outs with the {8-Spades} on the turn, but the {9-Spades} on the river wasn't one of the cards he was looking for.

In the first hand of the day, Sergio Cabrera hit the rail. He takes home $41,031 and the remaining eight players are guaranteed $53,615 from here on out.

Hand #8: From the hijack, Andres Korn raised to 110,000. Action folded to Mark Zullo in the big blind who didn't hesitate for too long before moving in for 910,000. Korn asked for a count and called shortly after.

Zullo: {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}
Korn: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

The flop brought the {Q-Hearts} but that card was accompanied by the {8-Spades} and {4-Diamonds}, giving Korn a set. Zullo needed runner-runner but failed to catch up as the {5-Clubs} hit the turn and {6-Hearts} hit the river.

Zullo takes home $53,615 and the remaining seven players are guaranteed $71,300 from here on out.

Chen led with a bet of 150,000 and Lam moved all in. Chen made the call and tabled {5-}{5-} for a straight. Lam could only muster a pair of queens with his {q-}{10-} and was eliminated in sixth place for $96,472.

Sowers: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Korn: {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Spades}{6-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Korn paired his jack to send Sowers to the rail in fifth place, good for $132,767.

Hand #48: Andres Korn raised to 130,000 on the button and Marton Czuczor moved all in from the big blind. Korn got a count and it was 1,930,000. After several seconds, Korn announced a call and they showed down.

Czuczor: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Korn: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

It was a coin flip, but Korn flopped a set on {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. The {7-Hearts} turn gave Czuczor straight outs, and he needed a nine to double up and stay alive. The {3-Clubs} river provided him no help, and Czuczor was eliminated in fourth place for a payday of $185,794.

Thomas Boivin
Thomas Boivin

Hand #93: It folded to Andres Korn in the small blind and he put forward enough chips to put Thomas Boivin to an all-in decision in the big blind. Boivin quickly called for his remaining stack of 1,065,000 and he was at risk.

Boivin: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Korn: {Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Boivin was ahead with his pair of fives, but Korn made a pair of queens on the {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop to take the lead. Boivin was looking for one of the two remaining fives in the deck, but he didn't find one on the {9-Hearts} turn or the {9-Clubs} river.

Boivin was the third-place finisher, taking home $264,306 for his efforts.
