Michael Harris completed, and he was called by Alexander Lukyanov. Marcel Luske called all in for less. and Harris and Lukyanov were heads-up for a side pot. The two live players checked all the way down, and the hands were tabled.

Harris had a pair of threes, Luske had a pair of eights, and Lukyanov's pair of jacks was best. He won the pot and eliminated Luske in 20th place. Luske received a payout of $3,142 for his finish in the tournament.
A short-stacked Wesley Hickey was all in against Yosuke Sekiya. Hickey's final board read for a pair of tens, but Sekiya had him beat with for trip queens to score the elimination.
A short-stacked Gerald Cheatham was all in with split aces but was unable to hold up, as Jonathan Ulrich made a wheel to eliminate Cheatham in 22nd place.
Marcel Luske completed, Joseph Couden raised, and Yueqi Zhu made it three bets. Luske called, and Couden called all in for less. There was 4,000 in the side pot between Luske and Zhu.
On fourth street, Zhu bet, and Luske called. On fifth street, Zhu bet again, and Luske called. They both checked sixth street, and Luske bet with a pair of threes showing on seventh street. Zhu thought briefly and folded.
Luske showed for trip threes, and Couden tossed his face-up into the middle as he made his exit.
Couden was the first elimination in Brasilia, taking home $3,142 for 23rd place.

Bohlman had a lot of outs to fade despite his current lead, but he wasn't able to do it, as Harris caught the on sixth street to make a jack-high straight. The on sixth street was no help to Bohlman, rendering his seventh-street card moot.
Bohlman finished in 28th place for $2,745. Dan Heimiller busted seconds before Bohlman in 29th place for the same payout.
Tom Koral completed, Scott Bohlman called, and Zach Bassett called.
Koral bet with the on-board lead on fourth street, Bohlman raised, Bassett called, and Koral called. Bohlman took the on-board lead on fifth street with a pair of sevens and bet. Bassett and Koral called, and the action repeated on sixth street. Bohlman checked on seventh, Bassett bet, Koral called, and Bohlman folded.
"You're good," said Bassett.
Koral tabled for queens and sixes, Bassett mucked, and Koral won the pot.
Welcome to Day 2 of Event #55: $1,500 Seven Card Stud. The 68 remaining players return to the Miranda room today at 2 p.m. to continue battling with seven cards. The 298-player field generated a total prize pool of $402,300 and the top 45 players will be in the money.
Bryan Slick begins the day as the chip leader with a stack of 92,400. The next biggest stack belongs to Jonathan Ulrich with 77,300, followed by John Bunch with 69,000. Some notable players bringing sizable stacks into Day 2 include Marcel Luske (64,300), Chris Vitch (61,700), Rod Pardey Sr. (60,400), Wes Hickey (58,400), Tom Koral (58,200), Andre Akkari (54,000) and Ian Johns (49,000).
As they are only 23 eliminations from the money, the bubble is expected to burst early in the day. The minimum payout will be $2,258 with $96,907 and a gold bracelet up top.
