Livingston Claims a Late Night Victim

Nível 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Alex Livingston opened to 50,000 on the button, and a player defended in the big blind.

Action checked to Livingston on the A108 flop, and he continued for 40,000. The big blind made the call after stalling for some time due to an impending pay jump.

The turn came 5, prompting the big blind to bet out 65,000. Livingston snap raised enough to cover his opponent, who, after tanking for a few minutes, called off for his remaining 125,000 or so.

Big Blind Player: J10 All in
Alex Livingston: A3

Livingston had flopped top pair to leave his opponent drawing fairly thin. The river came 7 to confirm the pot and knockout for Livingston as play on Day 4 draws to a close.

Diogo Veiga was all in for 410,000 in the hijack, Pascal Pflock stuck in his last 80,000 in the big blind, and the button had both players covered and at risk.

Diogo Veiga: 66 All in

The 863 flop gave Pflock top pair, but Veiga spiked a set and held up through the 10 turn and K river to win the pot and send Pflock to the rail while doubling up off the button.

Rice Picks Up Aces For a Bustout

Nível 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Shawn Rice raised to 40,000 in early position and a player on the button called. The big blind then three-bet to 430,000, leaving just around 50,000 behind, and Rice called. The button quickly folded.

The flop came 1098 and Rice bet enough to put his opponent all in. The big blind looked up at the tournament clock and waited a minute before calling.

All-In Player: KQ All in
Shawn Rice: AA

Rice was ahead with his aces and the at-risk player couldn't catch up on the 2 turn and 4 river as he was sent to the rail in the closing moments of Day 4.

The button then admitted he folded two eights. "Once you called, I knew you had a big hand," he told Rice.

Sherwood Eliminated by Tkatschew

Nível 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Robert Sherwood moved all-in for 245,000 in the hijack and Alexander Tkatschew asked for a count one seat over before he called, all players behind folded.

Robert Sherwood: A10 All in
Alexander Tkatschew: 99

The J42 flop kept Sherwood with some hope, but that all vanished when the 9 turn improved Tkatschew to a set of nines and left the Brit drawing dead. That made the K river a formality and Sherwood headed to the payout desk.

Kohl Takes One Out But Doesn't Get Ding's Chips

Nível 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Three-handed on a board of 10874, Biao Ding bet 250,000 from the cutoff before James Kohl moved all in for 640,000 in the big blind. An early-position player called for his last 540,000 and Ding tanked for a few minutes before folding.

The all-in player showed K10 for top pair and a flush draw, while Kohl had 65 for a straight. The river was the K and Kohl took the pot to send his opponent to the rail.

"I wanted his chips. If you folded a set, that's a hell of a fold," Kohl told Ding after the hand.

Joe McKeehen

The remnants of a hand were being sorted and the details were told afterwards. Joe McKeehen jammed for about 400,000 over an early position raise. Jeffrey Copeland called.

McKeehen had 9x9x and was up against the AxKx of Copeland who would hit a king on the runout to eliminate the last Main Event champion remaining in the field

Kirsch Does His Best Weinman Impression by Spiking a Jack

Nível 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

A player in early position moved all in for around 400,000, another opponent reshoved for 650,000, and Daniel Kirsch had them both covered and at risk.

Early-Position: QQ All in
Middle-Position: AK All in
Daniel Kirsch: JJ

With most of his stack in the middle, Kirsch found himself dominated until the flop brought J86, giving him top set. The rest of the board ran out 52 and Kirsch scooped the entire pot to eliminate both players.

"Jacks have sunrun this table. They haven't lost once," tablemate Jayphong Nguyen said.

"I don't know if it's a good omen, but last year's champion had the same hand against queens and ace-king," Nguyen added.

"Actually it was kings," another tablemate replied.

"Kings? That makes it worse," Nguyen said.

Nguyen Felted in Setup Hand

Nível 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The chips of Anthony Nguyen went into the middle with the AK and he was up against the AA of Yong Han.

There was a glimpse of hope with the K85 flop but neither the 3 turn nor the 9 river brought any further help to send Nguyen to the payout desk.
