After the two previous days of jockeying for position, Joan Perez - Javier Rodriguez of Team Perez lead the pack with 3,730,000. Joshua Hopkins – Charles Honkonen of Team Hopkins are close behind with 3,305,000.
The race for the tag team championship and coveted gold WSOP bracelet should be filled with action, as the field still boasts capable teams, such as Sheraton Hall - Malcolm Trayner of Team Hall (2,545,000), Aaron Thomas – Burcu Dagli of Team Thomas (1,445,000), Jason Wheeler – Anthony Nardi (1,150,000) of Team Wheeler and Duy Ho - David Erquiaga of Team Ho (1,050,000), among others.

Day 3 begins at 11 a.m. local time, with blinds resuming in Level 23 at 15,000/30,000 and a 30,000 big blind ante. Each level is one hour and there are no breaks (except for color-ups). The teams will play down to a winner.
