Joshua Reichard Eliminated in 6th Place ($82,702)

Nível 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Joshua Reichard
Joshua Reichard

Joshua Reichard was down to just 25,000 after losing a majority of his stack to Jeremy Ausmus in the previous hand.

Reichard was forced to be all in out of the small blind, and then had to hold on for dear life.

Players folded around the table to Johan Guilbert on the button, and Guilbert raised to 500,000. With Reichard already all in, action fell on Antonio Galiana, who called out of the big blind.

The dealer fanned 8QJ on the flop, resulting in checks from Galiana and Guilbert. The 3 hit the turn, and once again Galiana and Guilbert checked.

The river produced 8 and Galiana checked a third time. This time, though, Guilbert elected to bet 775,000, which drew a call from Galiana.

With Reichard already all in, the cards were tabled.

Joshua Reichard: 102 All in
Antonio Galiana: J6
Johan Guilbert: Q10

Guilbert took down the main and side pot with a pair of queens.

Reichard finished in sixth place for a payout of $87,702.

Jeremy Ausmus raised to 500,000 from early position. Joshua Reichard made the call out of the small blind.

The flop was 3102. Reichard checked, Ausmus bet 300,000 and Reichard called.

Action checked through on the 7 turn card.

Jeremy Ausmus: AQ
Joshua Reichard: J8

Ausmus's ace-high call was a risky one, but it paid off for the six-time bracelet winner who appears to be in the zone at the final table of Event #34

New WSOP Online Poker Site Merges Three US States; 30 Online Bracelet Events Scheduled

Nível 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
WSOP.com
WSOP.com

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is making a move that will change the online poker game in the US with the launch of WSOP Online, a new platform that will bring players from three states together.

Poker players in Nevada and New Jersey are already competing against each other on WSOP.com, while those in Michigan have a separate single-state site. But that is changing with the trio of states being merged together on one online poker site ahead of the 2024 WSOP. Pennsylvania's WSOP site will not be part of the shared liquidity deal.

On top of the merger news, the WSOP has announced 30 online bracelet events this summer on the new WSOP Online.

Guilbert Doubles Through Helppi

Nível 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Johan Guilbert
Johan Guilbert

Action folded to Johan 'YoH ViraL' Guilbert in the cutoff. He thought for a moment and then open-shoved all in for 2,250,000 or just under ten big blinds. Joshua Reichard and Antonio Galiana, on the button and in the small blind respectively, both folded, it was up to Juha Helppi in the big blind. Helppi thought about it for a quite a few moments, but eventually called.

Johan Guilbert: A10All in
Juha Helppi: A5

Guilbert was all in but ahead. The flop was QA3. Guilbert said he would take a chop, but the 9 turn and A river gave him better than that. Both players made trips, but Guilbert's ten kicker played and he doubled up.

Nível 32 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

Patrick Leonard entered the feature table with 1,675,000 and found a spot early in Level 32 to get his chip stack in the middle.

Juha Helppi raised to 525,000 from the hijack, and Leonard three-bet to 1,100,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Helppi, who went deep in the tank.

After more than a minute elapsed, Helppi four-bet to put Leonard all in, and Leonard called to put himself at risk.

Patrick Leonard: A10 All in
Juha Helppi: A5

Leonard had Helppi’s ace dominated, but the flop of K25 gave Helppi a pair of fives and the lead. Leonard didn’t receive help on the turn, where the 8 appeared, and 7 on the river sent Leonard to the rail.

Leonard finished the tournament in seventh place for a $62,334 payout.

Nível 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Darius Samual
Darius Samual

Here's a name you'd better start learning the rest of the summer — Darius Samual. That isn't a household name in poker yet, but it will be soon.

The poker player from England entered the 2024 World Series of Poker (WSOP) with less than $100,000 in live tournament cashes, according to The Hendon Mob. Twelve days into the series, there's an argument to be made that he's one of a few "players to beat" regarding WSOP Player of the Year.

And, here's what's really crazy — Samual gambled half his poker bankroll in one event just to get to this point.
