The final five return to Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas today to crown a champion in Event #84: $50,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em, with Alex Kulev leading the way heading into Day 3.

The latest high roller event at the 2023 World Series of Poker saw a total of 176 entrants create a prize pool of $8,404,000, with today’s winner taking home the $2,087,073 top prize and the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.

Kulev is in line for a second massive payday of the summer, looking to improve on his fourth place finish in Event #40. He returns to the table with a sizeable chip lead chasing a first career WSOP title.

Three of his remaining foes have tasted WSOP glory, including 2021 Main Event Champion Koray Aldemir. This marks Aldemir’s 16th cash of the summer, but he returns to action today as one of the shortest stacks along with fellow German and bracelet winner Daniel Smiljkovic.

Jake Schindler enters the day second in chips, looking for a second WSOP $50,000 victory after claiming gold in Event #12 back in 2022.

The final five are rounded out by Gergely Kulcsár, looking to improve on a runner-up finish earlier this month in Online Event #13.
