Parry Drags A Big Pot From Matakis

Nível 32 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Matthew Parry raised from the button to 750,000 from the button and got called by both Dustin Goldklang in the small blind and Ian Matakis in the big blind leading to a 10♣8♦Q♥ flop.

Goldkland and Matakis both checked to Parry who continued with a bet of 850,000. Goldklang got out of the way but Matakis called to see the K♣ hit the turn.

Matakis opted to check again only to see Parry toss out another bet, this time for 2,400,000. Matakis paused briefly before putting in the call to see the 2♣ fall on the river.

Action checked through to showdown and Parry quickly tabled the A♣J♦7♠5♠ for the nut straight. Matakis tossed his cards towards the muck and Parry collected what had become a pretty big pot.

Goldklang's Raise is Enough to Win the Pot

Matthew Parry called from the small blind, and Dustin Goldklang bet for 800,000. Parry called to the flop.

The flop came A♠9♠7♦, and Perry quickly checked. Goldklang fired for 1,000,000 and received a call from Goldklang.

While the turn came the J♥, both players checked around.

The river was the 7♥, and Parry led out for 1,400,000. Goldklang raised to 5,000,000, putting Parry in a tough spot. After taking his time to consider, Parry made the fold for Goldklang to scoop the pot uncontested.

Goldklang started playing poker online in his early 20s. He has become a Pot-Limit Omaha specialist in more recent years as his game of choice.

Matthew Parry limped the small blind and Dustin Goldklang raised to 700,000 from the big blind. Parry called to see the 3♠10♠9♦ flop.

Action checked through to bring the A♦ out on the turn. Both players checked through once more to see the 2♥ fall on the turn.

Parry led with a bet of 1,250,000. Goldklang verified the amount before putting in the call and watched as Parry turned up the A♥K♦9♠8♥, good for two pair which got a muck out of Goldklang before the dealer pushed the pot in Parry's direction.

Parry Finds Huge Double to Even Stacks

Cuba Levenberry Eliminated in 4th Place ($144,890)

Ian Matakis raised to 550,000 from the button and Cuba Levenberry called from the big blind to see the 7♠4♠3♣.

Levenberry checked to Matakis who continued with a bet of 500,000. Levenberry check-jammed for his remaining chips and Matakis quickly called to set up a runout with Levenberry at risk.

Matakis had flopped the nuts while Levenberry had hung his hope on a flush draw but when the Q♣ turn and 6♣ river produced no such flush, Levenberry was sent to the exit in fourth place for $144,890.

Levenberry Jams to Take the Pot

Matthew Perry called from the cutoff and Cuba Levenberry bet pot (800,000) from the small blind. Perry made the call to head to the flop.

The flop came 10♠7♥7♠, and Levenberry took little time to shove all in. Perry considered his options before he folded for Levenberry to take the pot uncontested.

Levenberry told PokerNews how prior to today he had cashed in the Main Event, playing it for the first time ever, for $17,000. He said he played in this event as a "fun opportunity" and is excited to be making such a deep run.

The flop came down A♠A♥9♠. Goldklang and Matakis both checked to see the 4♥ hit the turn.

Goldklang tossed out a bet of 300,000 and Matakis wasted little time in making the call to bring the 9♣ out on the river.

Goldklang bet out again, this time for 700,000 and getting a fold from Matakis, leading to a showdown with Wayne, who turned up the 5♠5♥3♥3♦, which was second best to the A♦K♣J♦4♠ of Goldklang. Wayne headed to the rail in fifth place for $103,738.
