Norberg Sends His Opponent to the Exit

Action folded to the cutoff who raised to 1,500 and got called by Martin Norberg in the big blind to see a 4♠3♦A♦ flop.

Norberg checked to his opponent who continued with a bet of 3,100. Norberg called to see the dealer put the 5♥ out on the turn,

Norberg checked once more and the player in the cutoff bet again, this time for 4,000. Norberg thought briefly before looking at the dealer and saying, "Pot".

The bet amounted to 23,600 and was almost enough to put his opponent all in. The player in the cutoff entered the tank and stayed there for about four minutes. Eventually, he went all in for just a few thousand more and Norberg made the quick call to put his opponent at risk and headed to a runout.

Norberg had his opponent drawing dead going to the river and after the dealer put the inconsequential 9♥ out on the river, his exit was made official as Norberg collected what had become a very big pot.

Hardy Tanks Pre and Pots Flop

Roger Hardy raised in early position to 2,500, was called by a player in late position, and faced a raise from Ben Yu in the mall to 9,100.

After a long thing, Hardy made the call, the player in between also spend plenty of time pondering and also made the call.

Three ways to a flop of A♦3♥10♥, Yu checked and Pardi quickly bet the pot, receiving folds from both his opponents.

Velador Takes it Down on the River

The player under the gun limped, followed by Daniel Negreanu in middle position. Oziel Velador on the button, raised the pot and both opponents called.

The flop came 10♣5♥5♣ and received checks all round. A 5♠ on the turn got the same treatment.

A 10♦ on the river made for a symmetrical board. Action was checked to Velador, who threw out a 5,000 chip. The player under the gun folded quickly but Negreanu went into the tank for just over a minute before deciding to fold as well.

The turn was a 3♦ and was checked in both spots.

Under the gun checked a 2♥ river, to which Bees responded with a bet of 6,000, getting another call.

Bees turned over 8♠7♥6♦5♦ and his opponent mucked.

Kyriakides Stays Alive with Double-Up

The under-the-gun player limped only to see the middle position player raise to 2,000. A player in late position called as did Justin Kyriakides from the cutoff and the player under the gun to see a 10♠K♦8♠ flop.

Action checked to Kyriakides, who went all in with the under-the-gun player doing the same behind him, convincing the other players to fold. Kyriakides was at risk of elimination.

Negreanu Gets a Bounty

Heads up on a flop reading 10♠4♣K♠, first to act checked, and Daniel Negreanu bet 4,000 but was soon faced with a raise to 18,500, which he called.

The turn brought the 5♦ and the early position player bet his last 10,500 to which Negreanu said, "I just wanted to see if a spade came." and stuck in the call, implying he was folding if a flush card came.

The river was Ax and Negreanu made aces up to scoop the pot, collecting a bounty.

PokerNews was unable to catch both players hands before they hit the muck.
