Baker Doubles Through Negreanu

Nível 19 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 30,000 ante
David "ODB" Baker
David "ODB" Baker

Alex Livingston raised to 45,00 from the cutoff and Daniel Negreanu called from the button.

David "ODB" Baker was in the small blind and counted out a three-bet to 220,000. Livingston got out of the way and Negreanu paused to ponder his decision.

After a minute or so, Negreanu four-bet jammed, putting Baker to a decision for his tournament life.

Baker eventually made the call to put himself at risk and send both players to the draw.

Baker drew one and Negreanu stood pat.

David "ODB" Baker: 7542
Daniel Negreanu: 97863

Baker needed any nine, eight, six or three to double and after peeling his card very slowly, he excitedly turned up the 3, making a seven-five low to beat Negreanu's nine-eight and securing himself the double.
