Okamoto Versus Abraham

Tamar Abraham raised from the hijack to 240,000. Shiina Okamoto flat called on the button and Suzanne Malavet also came along to see the flop.

The flop came A♦7♥10♦ and everyone checked.

The turn 2♥ brought out a bet from Abraham of 175,000 after a check from Malavet. Okamoto had other ideas and raised quickly to 475,000, Abraham made the call and Malavet folded.

The river was the 6♠ and Abraham checked and Okamoto bet 1,100,000. Abraham took a moment to decide and then called. Okamoto flipped over 2♦2♣ for the set and Abraham flipped over 10♣8♣ for the pair of tens.

Okamoto's rail went wild as she won some chips back from Abraham.

With three players involved on a board 8♦K♠3♣9♥ with a pot containing 1,800,000, Shiina Okamoto checked in the big blind with 3♠3♥ for a set of threes. Tara Cain checked behind with A♥6♥ and Tamar Abraham bet 450,000 on the button, holding 8♠8♥ for a set of eights.

Okamoto took a minute and raised it to 1,600,000. Cain let it go but Abraham shoved for a remaining stack of 4,240,000 and Okamoto snap-called to see the bad news.

The J♥ river didn't change anything and Okamoto conceded to big double up to Abraham.

The flop came 3♣9♣8♥ and it checked to Okamoto who sent a bet of 300,000. It was enough to win the pot without more resistance.

Abraham Gets Lucky on the River

The turn 10♥ brought more outs to Abraham as she also held the open ended straight draw and the river fell with 9♦. Abraham got very lucky to hit her straight and doubled her stack.

Both checked on the Q♦ turn and 6♥ river and Dvorkin showed her pair of sixes while Okamoto mucked her hand.
