Bronshtein Doubles Through Edwards

Nível 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Yuval Bronshtein
Yuval Bronshtein

After a raise in early position by Paul Edwards to 12,000, Yuval Bronshtein three-bet from the small blind to 40,000. Edwards called and the duo saw a flop.

It came QJ4 and Bronshtein bet 110,000, leaving just 6,000 chips behind. After a bit of thought, Edwards made the call to put Bronshtein at risk.

Yuval Bronshtein: AA62
Paul Edwards: A854

Bronshtein's aces were well ahead of Edwards' pair of fours and backdoor flush draws. The K on the turn gave Edwards some hope, but the 9 on the river ended that, sending the double up to the always dangerous Bronshtein.

Wang Goes For It All Versus Wehner

Nível 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Michael Wang
Michael Wang

Picking action up on the river with about 60,000 in the middle and a board of 69484, Andrew Barber checked in the big blind to Michael Wehner who bet 45,000 from early position.

Action was then on Michael Wang in the cutoff and after a bit of thought, he raised to 160,000. Barber quickly folded, but Wehner now had a decision.

A call would cost the remainder of his chips, and he went deep into the tank, thinking for almost three minutes before choosing to fold and preserve his remaining chips.

Massive Pots at Table 613

Nível 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Mike Linster
Mike Linster

Connor Drinan raised to 60,000 in late position and got called by Mike Linster on the button. William Kopp then made it 270,000 from the small blind with only Linster calling.

On the J27 flop, after Kopp bet 200,000, Linster made it 1,100,000 which got a fold from Kopp. Linster showed A43 before he dragged the pot.

Just after that, 330,000 was in front of Drinan and Kopp on a turn board of 2973. Drinan bet the pot under the gun and Kopp then moved all in for 1,190,000. Drinan called.

William Kopp: AQ72
Connor Drinan: 7543

The board completed with the 5 on the river, with Kopp's nut flush and better low scooping a huge pot to leave Drinan on fumes, while blasting back over two million chips himself.

Meanwhile, John Eckhart was eliminated, setting up the three-table redraw.

Following the quick elimination of Nitesh Rawtani in the first hand after the redraw, Sokcheka Pho followed shortly after.

Sterling Savill raised to 70,000 in the hijack and got three-bet by Pho in the big blind. Savill called, and after the K54 flop, Pho moved in for about 100,000 and got called by Savill.

Sokchheka Pho: AKQ3
Sterling Savill: AJ92

Pho looked primed to at least chop with his pair of kings on the flop, but the K turn and 9 river gave Savill a winning flush to scoop the pot and send Pho to the rail.
