The 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) kicked off back on May 30, and now bracelet winners are being minted every day. The PokerNews Live Reporting Team has been busy capturing all the action in our live updates, and they’ve witnessed some hands go down that proved to be either entertaining, game-changing or just flat out brutal.

Among those to play big hands were Poker Hall of Famer Erik Seidel, Thomas Eychenne, Shannon Fahey, and Robert Williamson III. There were some truly bad beats in big spots that you don't want to miss.

Allen Kessler: XxXx/6610 - folded fifth street
Opponent: XxXx/5KK7/Xx
Nacho Barbero: XxXx/4335/Xx

Allen Kessler completed and the player next to him called. Nacho Barbero then made it two bets to go and both players called. Barbero then bet fourth street as well and again received two calls.

On fifth street, the third player in the hand put out a bet when their king paired only to get raised by Barbero. Kessler, meanwhile, had seen enough and folded, while the other opponent stuck around.

Two more bets followed by Barbero on sixth and seventh street and his opponent check-called both. At showdown, Barbero announced: "Full house," and showed A53. It was good for the scoop as the other player quickly surrendered their holdings to the dealer.
