Halatenko Leads Final Five Into Day 4 of $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship
Day 3 of Event #50: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship has come to an end at the 2023 World Series of Poker, with the final five players returning tomorrow to play for a top prize of $1,309,232 and a gold WSOP bracelet.
Sitting atop the leaderboard is Stanislav Halatenko, who bagged 19,750,000 to take a massive lead into Day 4. The Ukranian went on a big run early in the day, including eliminating William Kopp in 16th with a rivered full house, and enters tomorrow with 45 percent of chips in play.
Travis Pearson sits in second place, having bagged 8,550,000. Pearson came on strong near the end of the night, firmly entrenching himself in second position with a rivered Broadway.
Peng Shan will enter Day 4 in third, bringing 6,800,000 in chips. Shan was down to two million during the final table, and found himself all in and in danger of being eliminated before doubling up with a straight flush and turning his night around.
Arthur Morris is in fourth position with 4,875,000. The Dallas-area poker pro and Twitch streamer will look to ride a rowdy rail to victory:

Ap Garza may have the shortest stack with 3,775,000, but his willingness to play numerous pots means that he will have plenty of opportunities to spin his stack up.

Day 3 Action
42 players began the day at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas with their sights set on the final table, but that number quickly diminished as the early part of the day saw numerous eliminations. Players busting out early in the day included Scott Bohlman (42nd), Sean Winter (35th), and Keith Lehr (34th).
Dimitar Danchev, the Day 2 chipleader, was eliminated in ninth, ushering in the beginning of final table play.
Eliminations at the final table belonged to Garza. He first took out Ren Lin, as the Chinese-born pro busted in eighth place to Garza's full house. Garza then struck again, eliminating Kosei Ichinose in seventh place when he rivered a flush against Ichinose's pair of jacks.
Shan then scored the final elimination of the night, taking out Sam Soverel in sixth when Soverel was unable to complete his numerous draws.
Day 4 will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, and will be streamed on PokerGO with a one-hour delay. Action will resume with 47 minutes and 39 seconds remaining in Level 30, which features blinds of 100,000-200,000 with a big blind ante of 200,000.
