An action-packed Day 2 of Event #50: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship saw Dimitar Danchev amass the chip lead, bagging a total of 3,705,000. Danchev has lifetime earnings of $5,992,992 and is looking to capture his second World Series of Poker gold bracelet as he advances to Day 3 at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Shortly after the break, hand-for-hand play was announced, and it was Ben Yu and Jake Schindler who ended up stone-bubbling the event.

Bracelet winners to make the cash but not quite make it to Day 3 include Jeremy Ausmus (98th), Dan Smith (95th), and Jesse Lonis (92nd).

Notables and bracelet winners to bag at the end of Day 2 included Dylan Weisman (1,855,000) who won the $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament in 2021 for $166,461, Keith Lehr (895,000), Juha Helppi (465,000), Jaspal Brar (310,000), and Scott Bohlman (310,000).

All returning players are guaranteed a payout of $28,905 and action will resume at 2 p.m. local time on Friday, June 23rd, on Level 21, with blinds of 10,000/25,000 and a 25,000 big blind ante. The field is expected to play down to the final five before streaming on PokerGO begins.

The PokerNews team will continue to bring you all of the action as we get set to crown a new WSOP champion.

Nível 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Dylan Weisman

With 99,000 in the middle, the board read 7733, and Dylan Weisman checked to Jose Castillo, who pushed out a bet of 35,000. Sonny Franco called, and Weisman check-raised to 140,000. Only Castillo called.

The 9 completed the board, and Weisman announced a pot-sized bet of 414,000, putting Castillo to the test for most of his chips. About four minutes went by before a tablemate called the clock.

The floor man came to the table and gave a countdown from 30 seconds. The entire 30 seconds went by, and Castillo's hand was declared dead as the dealer pushed the pot to Weisman.

Scott Bohlman: QJ106
Ky Nguyen: K322

Nguyen had flopped bottom set and was looking to dodge the open-ended straight draw and flush draw of Bohlman but the A river completed his straight as he dragged the pot.

With play hand for hand and players two away from making the money, Ben Yu was all in preflop for his last 35,000 against Jose Castillo who had a covering stack.

Ben Yu: KQJJ

Elsewhere, Jake Schindler was also eliminated at the same time. The money bubble has officially burst and all remaining players are guaranteed a min-cash of at least $16,088.

Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Jeremy Ausmus raised under the gun and Nolan King called on the button.

The JA10 flop saw Ausmus check-call a bet of 25,000 from King.

The 4 turn saw a repeat of action, this time King betting 60,000.

The A on the river prompted Aumus to lead into the aggressor for 150,000, a substantial portion of King's stack.

After several minutes in the tank, squirming over his decision, King eventually folded earning Ausmus the pot.
