Lou Garza raised to 1,500,000 out of the small blind with the A♣Q♥J♠3♥. Out of the big blind, Stanislav Halatenko, now bearing the Ukrainian flag around his shoulders, repotted to 4,500,000 with the A♥K♦J♥8♥.
Garza went deep into the tank and reluctantly folded.
Halatenko won the next pot and then folded the A♠10♣8♣4♥ on the button, Arthur Morris let go of the Q♣J♦5♦2♣ out of the small blind and Garza received a walk.
Morris raised the next button to 1,500,000 with the A♣K♥4♥2♠ and Halatenko defended the J♣9♦3♥3♣ in the big blind. They checked the 9♠8♣4♦ flop to the 4♠ turn on which Halatenko bet 900,000. Morris raised the pot and Halatenko folded instantly.
