Berthomet Puts Opponent in the Blender

Nível 10 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

A player from early position opened to 3,200 and Boris Berthomet three-bet to 9,000 in the cutoff, receiving calls from a player on the button and the early position raiser.

The flop came 326 and action checked around to the player on the button who bet 11,000. The early position player folded and Berthomet made the call.

Action checked through on the Q turn leading to the 5 river. Berthomet bet 35,000 putting his opponent deep into the tank.

After about two minutes the player on the button apologized to his tablemates and stated that he only needed 30 more seconds, to which a player at the table replied that he should take his time as it was a big spot. Eventually he opted to folded and Berthomet took down a decent pot without having to go to showdown.
