Wills Runs out a Flush

Nível 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Dustin Wills raised to 16,000 on the button and both Barry Schultz and Caleb Piderit called in the blinds.

On the AJ10 flop, the action was quickly checked to Wills as he continued for 15,000. Schultz and Piderit made the call.

The 7 fell on the turn and once again the action checked to Wills before he put out a bet of 28,000. This time only Schultz stuck around.

The 4 river put out a four-card flush and both Schultz and Wills quickly checked. Wills announced, "small flush" as he tabled 98. Schultz sighed as he had the same straight on the turn, flashing 9x8x before tossing his hand into the muck.

Christian Loucas raised under the gun to 12,000 only to be met by a three-bet of 38,000 from Brent Gregory. Loucas mulled over his options before four-bet jamming into Gregory for 157,000.

Gregory seemingly pained to fold was quickly shown the A5 of Loucas.

"My man!" Landon Tice exclaimed as he jumped out of his seat, making his way to the other end of the table to high-five Loucas.

Huynh Puts Opponent in Tough River Spot

Nível 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Kenny Huynh started the proceedings with a raise to 12,000 picking up two callers from the button and the big blind.

No player seemed overly enthused by the flop of 4Q4 as the action checked through to the K on the turn. The big blind once again checked allowing Huynh to take the lead for 26,000. The button folded and the big blind called.

The big blind checked a final time on the 5 river. Huynh fired out a bet of 64,000 sending his opponent deep into the tank, finally settling on folding.

Gruneberg Backs into a Straight

Nível 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Zachary Gruneberg raised to 13,000 under-the-gun and was looked up by Melinda Harris in the cutoff, as well as Brian Gatliff in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 832 and Gatliff checked to Gruneberg as he tossed in a bet of 24,000. Both Harris and Gatliff made the call.

The 5 hit the turn and once checked to, Gruneberg continued for 47,000. Harris tossed her cards in the muck and after only a short pause, Gatliff made the call.

The 4 landed on the river and Gatliff checked for a final time. Gruneberg hesitated for a brief moment before checking back as he announced he had a straight. Gruneberg tabled A8 for the top pair on the flop, which turned into a straight on the river. Gatliff sighed as he tabled 54 for two pair.

Michael Sabbia Looks for the Double Elimination with Aces

Nível 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Pete Chen
Pete Chen

Pete Chen raised to 12,000 from early position and Karapet Galstyan moved all-in for 94,000 from middle position. Action folded around to Michael Sabbia in the big blind and a count of Galstyan's chips was requested. Sabbia called the all-in, with Chen moving all-in himself right behind, and then Sabbia calling that all-in, as well.

Karapet Galstyan: AK
Pete Chen: KK
Michael Sabbia: AA

Sabbia's aces were in a great position to score a double knock-out and move him into one of the top chip positions, but the case king landed on a flop of 5K8 and provided Chen with top set, quickly reducing the aces to needing the one remaining ace in the deck in order pull back ahead.

However, it was not to be as the turn 4 and river 4 would give Chen a near triple-up.
