Hunter McClelland raised from early position to 225,000 with 66 and he was called by Wissam Gahshan seated directly to his left with Q9. The other folded and the 854 flop was dealt.

McClelland checked this time and Gahshan took over the betting initiative with a bet of 325,000. McClelland called to see the 2 on the turn.

McClelland check-called another bet of 500,000 on the turn and the 4 completed the board, only for the initial raiser to check again. Gahshan continued the aggression by betting 850,000 and a snap call by McClelland followed whose pocket pair of sixes were good enough to win the hand.

Brent Gregory

Brent Gregory raised under the gun to 200,000 with AQ and he was called by Wissam Gahshan from the cutoff with K10. Ronnie Day from the button with A7, and big blind Patrick White also called with J4.

The QJ6 flop was dealt and Gregory continued with a bet of 350,000 after White checked. Gahshan flopped an open-ended straight draw and flush draw and called while both Day and White got out of the way.

The 8 turn came out and Gregory fired another bet. This time he sized up to 450,000 and Gahshan called yet again.

The river was 6 completing the board as it bricked out for Gahshan and Gregory put in a hefty 800,000 but that was too much for Gahshan who got out of the way and Gregory started stacking.
