The cutoff considered their options before eventually making the call and saw the bad news. Gronvik tabled for the nut low and the seven-high straight for the high hand. The cutoff could not beat or match either and threw their cards into the muck.

Defending Champion Linde May Not Defend His Title

Late registration for this event is open until the start of level 10, so defending champion Dylan Linde will have until then to hop in.

However unless he opts to do some multi-room multi-tabling, that may not happen.

Linde currently has a healthy stack of almost 300,000 chips in Day 2abc of the Main Event, currently being played in the Bally's Event Center, while Day 1 of this event is across the building in the Paris Ballroom.
