Ohel Survives All In Scare

Nível 12

Limit Omaha 8 or Better

Randy Ohel who was under the gun was all in on the turn board of {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} with 43,000 in the middle with Chris Ginley in the hijack and the big blind also active in the hand.

The river {8-Hearts} was checked by GInley and the big blind.

Randy Ohel: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Chris GInley: {a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Big Blind: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

Ohel did not look happy with the river card as it may have given one of his opponents a straight. Ohel was relieved to find his set of kings was good for the high pot, while Ginley had the nut low .

Negreanu Breaks Out the Vlogging Gear

Nível 11
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better

The most reliable tell in poker during the WSOP is if Daniel Negreanu is holding his vlogging gear and narrating the action, you know he's all in.

Such was the case in a recent hand as Negreanu put his last 19,000 chips into the middle on a turn board of {3-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} with approximately 30,000 in the middle.

His opponent on the button took a minute or so to decide, but opted to fold, sending the chips Negreanu's way

GInley Gets Paid On River

Nível 11

The cutoff bet 1,800 and was met with a raise of 4,500 from Chris Ginley on the button. The cutoff made the call.

Both players checked the flop of {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, but Ginley bet 4,500 on the {10-Hearts} turn which was called by the cutoff.

The {7-Hearts} was tabled on the river and Ginley bet 13,000. The cutoff weighed up their options before opting to call and soon saw the bad news as Ginley tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for the nut flush to take the whole pot.

Deeb Doubles; Fading Prop Bet with Chip Leader Oxman

Nível 10
Ari Oxman
Ari Oxman

Earlier in the day, Shaun Deeb was at the same table as current chip leader Ari Oxman, who at the time the bet was made, had 120,000 in chips. Always up for a friendly prop bet, Deeb wagered Oxman $500 that he wouldn't make it through the day.

Oxman's stack has since steadily grown, while Deeb has already been to the rebuy cage.

The five-time bracelet winner's stack recently received an influx of chips, thanks to a timely double-up in Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better with his {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} against his opponent's {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} on a completed board of {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}, giving Deeb jacks full of aces to send his stack over 50,000.

Meanwhile, after his stack went over 200,000, Oxman recently took a hit in Big O after Nicole Cantrell took 30,000 from it as she boosted her growing stack to 96,000.

"So long as someone has around 100,000, I'm 25% to win" said Deeb, who for the sake of his $500 may be a founding member of the Nicole Cantrell fan club.

Zepeda Wins Pot From Thurber

Nível 10

Pot Limit Omaha 8 or Better

Marcus Zepeda on the button bet 1,500 and was called by Laurette Thurber in the small blind.

The flop of {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} prompted Thurber to bet 4,000 and was called by Zepeda. Both players checked the {j-Clubs} turn.

The {k-Hearts} landed on the river and Thurber bet 6,000. Zepeda made the call and turned over {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a Broadway straight. Thurber showed {q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a pair of queens along with busted flush and low draws.
