Gregg Merkow opened to just over 3,000,000 from the cutoff.
"Pretty much committed," said Merkow, as action folded to Konstantin Angelov in the big blind.
Angelov slid in a stack of chips that covered Merkow, who called to put his tournament life at risk.
"We need clubs bad!" said Markow.
No clubs showed up on the flop.
"That's not good," said Merkow. "Seven, deuce, or jack," announced the rail.
The hit the turn to give Merkow two pair and vault him to the lead. The river changed nothing and Merkow came from behind to recover with a large pot.
