Ramos Eliminates Burt, Enjoying Stellar Day 2 Start

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Felipe Ramos
Felipe Ramos

With just a small pot brewing before the {7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop, Felipe Ramos was eventually all in with Rodney Burt, who started the hand with roughly 130,000.

Rodney Burt: {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Felipe Ramos: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}

Ramos already had the nut low and was drawing to a flush while Burt had the second-nut low and had flopped a straight.

The {7-Diamonds} came on the turn, which had Burt hoping to spike a two to win the low.

Unfortunately for Burt, the {q-Spades} hit the river, giving Ramos the scoop and sending Burt to the rail.

Ramos has enjoyed a quick start to Day 2, having started with less than 100,000 chips.

Ivey and Negreanu Chop With Aces Full

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Phil Ivey limped in from under the gun and Daniel Negreanu checked his option in the big blind.

Negreanu checked on the flop of {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{a-Spades} and called a bet from Ivey. Negreanu checked on the {a-Diamonds} turn and Ivey again bet. Negreanu check-raised and Ivey called.

The river brought the {6-Hearts} and Negreanu put out a stack of pink 5,000 chips that was enough to put Ivey all in. He called.

"I've got the high," Negreanu said before tabling {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for aces full of tens.

Incredibly, Ivey then showed {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for the same full house and the two Poker Hall of Famers chopped up the pot.

Leonard Off to a Flyer

Nível 11 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

James Chen, Nick Schulman, and Patrick Leonard, fresh off his maiden WSOP bracelet win, were all in on the {4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop.

James Chen: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}
Nick Schulman: {5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Patrick Leonard: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Leonard's top set was far ahead of Chen's two pair, while Schulman had a flush draw, a straight draw, and was going for the low.

The {8-Spades} gave Schulman the low, with the {4-Clubs} completing the board to give Leonard a full house and the high.

Chen was left with a single yellow chip when all was done and dusted.
