Lendvai Finds a Caller

Tamas Lendvai had already moved all in at least four times prior to this hand, but had yet to get a call on any of his shoves, raising and pumping his fist in triumph after getting no action and scooping the pot of blinds and antes each time.

After Jon Van Fleet opened from the cutoff for 2,000,000, Lendvai jammed for 11,200,000 in the small blind. Action folded back around to Van Fleet, who made the call.

Van Fleet's Bluff Gets Through

Abdullah Alshanti opened to 2,000,000 from the cutoff, getting calls from Daniel Marcus on the button and Jon Van Fleet in the big blind.

The flop was checked through, before Alshanti fired 1,800,000 on the turn. Marcus folded and Van Fleet began counting chips. After carefully removing and adding chips to get his raise size just right, he pushed 7,300,000 into the middle. Alshanti thought for a bit, before making the laydown. Van Fleet sat there with a huge grin on his face as he stacked his chips back up.

"That was a bluff," Alshanti said to him, seemingly half asking and half stating for a known fact.

"Yeah it was," Van Fleet responded, sending himself and the table into uproarious laughter.

Alex Jim Leads Final Seven In Hunt For Bracelet Glory

After the dust settled on Day 3 of Event #57: $600 Deepstack Championship at the 2022 World Series of Poker, only seven remain in the hunt for bracelet glory.

Alex Jim leads the way and will be battling it out today starting at 12 p.m. local time in the Bally's Event Center where they will play down to a winner. The remaining players are guaranteed $46,347 but will all have their eyes on the $299,464 top prize and coveted gold bracelet.
