The biggest pot of the tournament so far just took place. Christopher Frank filled PokerNews in on the action until the river. Apparently, Ezequiel Waigel raised from the button to 55,000 chips and the small blind, Johan Martinet three-bet to 200,000. Facing the three-bet, Waigel four-bet to 485,000 and Martinet called.

Both players checked the flop and turn of {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} then on the {k-Hearts} river, Martinet moved all in for his last 1,245,000 chips. Two of the biggest stacks in the room Waigel had him covered by about double the jam amount.

After several minutes in the tank. Waigel called off and tabled {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}, which was good against the bluff of Martinet with {q-Spades}{9-Spades}. Waigel now moves into a strong chip lead and Martinet exits the tournament floor.

Anthony Hu and Anthony Zinno filled PokerNews in on the action. After an early position raise from Danny Pyke, Daniel Reijmer called on the button. When it folded to Anthony Hu in the big blind, he moved all in covering both players.

Pyke, with 800,000 behind, folded, but Daniel Raijmer, sporting his patented bright purple Nintendo hat, called all in for his last 1,150,000. With cards on their backs, we were off to the races.

Daniel Reijmer: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Anthony Hu: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

The board of {j-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} was favorable to Hu, who hit his jack on the flop and held to knock out Reijmer.

River Magic For D'Ambrosio Helps Him Out

Nível 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jimmy D'Ambrosio
Jimmy D'Ambrosio

After Jimmy D'Ambrosio had bet 160,000 on the turn from the big blind of {2-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Paraskevas Tsokaridis called from under-the-gun. The button was in the pot until he let his hand go and they went to a river.

The {j-Spades} river lead to both players checking and the charming D'Ambrosio showed down the {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, which was good enough to spike the win.

''To be fair, I kinda knew it was coming'' said D'Ambrosio to Tsokaridis as they both smiled.

D'Ambrosio Picks Off The Bluff Then Takes Down Another

Nível 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jimmy D'Ambrosio
Jimmy D'Ambrosio

Jimmy D'Ambrosio was on the winning side of another pot. This time he was heads-up against Tamer Alkamli at the river on the board of {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}. Blind on blind, Alkamli lead into D'Ambrosio for 190,000.

The pot was at least 200,000 at that point and D'Ambrosio called the bet and flipped his {q-Hearts}{j-Spades} over after Alkamli showed his {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} for a bluff.

A few hands later D'Ambrosio was once again in the mix, this time against Justin Bond.

On the turn, D'Ambrosio had bet 160,000 into around a 300,000 chip pot from the hijack versus Bond on the button, who called on a board of {3-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{a-Spades}

''I like the way you put that in'', D'Ambrosio said to Bond in a friendly way, referring to the way Bond called his bet.

On the {k-Diamonds} river, both players checked their option and D'Ambrosio showed down {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the winner, as Bond mucked his holding.

A tidal pot between Tamer Alkamli and Justin Bond, changed the flow of chips.

On a board of {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} with 600,000 in the middle already, Bond had just called a flop bet from Alkamli.

When a {7-Hearts} turn came in, Bond check-jammed a bet of 420,000 from Alkamli. With Bond covering Alkamli, he put him all in for 1,430,000 total. After at good few minutes of thought, Alkamli ultimately called.

Tamer Alkamli: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}
Justin Bond: {a-Spades}{4-Spades}

Bond needed help but the {2-Clubs} river wasn't it, sending a huge pot Alkamli's way.

Sandeep Pulusani
Sandeep Pulusani

Preflop action had Sandeep Pulusani in the cutoff raising to 750,000, almost his entire stack, leaving just 80,000 behind. The blinds folded and Robert Mizrachi pushed over top. Pulusani sat thinking and playing with his remaining chips for a few minutes. Time was eventually called and during the 10-second countdown Pulusani shoved the remainder of his stack in to the middle.

Sandeep Pulusani: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Robert Mizrachi: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The flop of {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} looked like a guaranteed double up for Pulusani until the {3-Clubs} turn and {5-Clubs} river came down to give MIzrachi the backdoor flush. The table was shocked and Mizrachi hit the table in celebration as the clubs hit and he knocked Pulusani out of the tournament in 18th place.
