Sebastien Guidez raised to 255,000 in the cutoff and Connor Daynard defended his big blind.
The dealer fanned a flop of and both players checked to the turn.
Daynard check-called a bet of 225,000 from Guidez and the river was checked by both players. Daynard tabled for top pair on the flop and Guidez mucked his hand.
Stephane Genet shoved from the button and Phong Nguyen called out of the small blind. The big blind folded and Genet was officially at risk.

Nguyen had found yet another premium hand and was in a good spot to send one more opponent to the rail. The flop kept Nguyen ahead as did the turn. No help came for Genet on the river, ending his deep run. Nguyen, meanwhile, appears to have captured the tournament chiplead.
James Ramirez raised in early position and Daniel Navarrete three-bet jammed for 1,235,000 next to act. The action folded back around to Ramirez as he went in the tank for about a minute. Eventually, Ramirez dropped some blue chips across the line to make the call.

Ramirez was in trouble until the flop came , giving him quads. The hit the turn, sealing the fate for Navarrete and the river was just a formality as Navarrete headed to the payout desk.
James Long shoved his short stack into the middle from under the gun and Daniel Marcus called from late position as did a player on the button.
On the flop Marcus continued for 450,000 and was called to generate a sidepot.
The turn saw Marcus move all in and his opponent went into the tank before ultimately making the call.

Marcus was ahead with top two pair but the player on the button had both the nut flush draw as well as a gutshot. The river bricked out, however, sending a large pot Marcus' way and eliminating two players.
Chris Moorman raised to 240,000 in early position and Daniel Pickering called a couple of spots to his left.
The dealer fanned a flop of and Moorman check-called a bet of 140,000.
The hit the turn and Moorman checked to Pickering who checked back.
The landed on the river and Moorman fired out a bet of 345,000. Pickering went in the tank for almost two minutes before putting in the call. Moorman tabled and Pickering pushed his cards towards the dealer.
Alexander Burton shoved from late position and was called by Eric Rivera out of the small blind.

Burton was behind and would need help to survive. That help came on the flop and the turn kept Burton ahead. The improved Burton to a full house as he exclaimed, "That is the best thing I've seen!".
The very next hand Burton found himself all in again, this time against Phong Nguyen.

This time Burton had his opponent dominated and after a clean runout of he went from being one of the shortest stacks in the room to tournament average in the span of a couple hands.
"Can we go for the hatrick?" Burton wondered aloud. It was not to be, however, as he folded his next hand preflop.
