The Irresistible Force Against The Immovable Object

Nível 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Sean Winter
Sean Winter

On the first hand of the day Sean Winter in the cutoff holding {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts} and Ferenc Deak in the small blind with {k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} limped to Leonid Yanovski with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Spades} in the big blind who checked his option.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Winter bet 150,000. Deak folded but Yanovski made the call. The {a-Hearts} landed on the turn and Winter continued the aggression with a bet of 540,000. After a brief deliberation Yanovski called.

The {5-Hearts} came on the river and Winter fired the third barrel to the tune of 1,300,000. Yanovski went into the tank and took over two minutes to decide to make the call.

Yanovski discovered Winter had been bluffing all way and his deuces full of kings was good enough to take the first pot of the final table.
