Seiver Uses Big Stack

Nível 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Scott Seiver raised to 250,000 from under the gun and was met by a three-bet to 725,000 from Sergio Aido one seat over. Action folded back around to Seiver who sized up his opponent before announcing all in. Aido, with the smaller middle sized stack, quickly gave up his hand.

"What Have I Done To Myself?"

Nível 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Alexander Farahi raised to 250,000 in the cutoff and Steve Zolotow defended his big blind.

The flop came out {4-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Zolotow checked to his opponent who continued for 300,000.

Zolotow responded by raising to 800,000 and Farahi moved all-in fairly quickly. "What have I done to myself?" Zolotow asked. He pondered for some time before flashing an {8-Clubs} and tossing his hand into the muck, giving Farahi the pot.

Chris Hunichen Eliminated in 8th Place ($30,478)

Nível 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Chris Hunichen
Chris Hunichen

Scott Seiver raised to 240,000 from early position and was called by David Goodman on the button. Chris Hunichen moved all in for 2,300,000 from the small blind. Seiver folded and Goodman snap called to put Hunichen at risk.

Chris Hunichen: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
David Goodman: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Hunichen was behind with only three immediate outs and failed to find any help on the {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop. The {8-Diamonds} turn left him drawing to an ace or the final four in the deck but could not find it on the {5-Hearts} river. Hunichen receives $30,478 for his efforts.

Seiver Goes Into The Tank

Nível 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Scott Seiver raised to 240,000 in middle position and was called by only Alexander Farahi from the button.

The flop of {q-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades} was checked by both players going to the {4-Clubs} turn that saw Seiver check and Farahi bet 250,000, which Seiver called.

The river came out the {6-Hearts} and Seiver checked once more to Farahi who bet 750,000 after which Seiver went into the tank. "This would be a really bad fold if I made it," Seiver commented as he counted out chips for the call. After about a minute of deliberation, Seiver tossed his hand into the muck saying that he folded ace-jack as Farahi raked in the pot.

Seiver Makes a Tough Call

Nível 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

David Goodman raised to 200,000 from late position and was met by calls from both Steve Zolotow in the small blind and Scott Seiver in the big blind.

Action checked around on the {6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop and did so once again on the {a-Diamonds} turn.

The river came {10-Diamonds} and both Zolotow and Seiver checked for a third time. Goodman was not prepared to go to showdown just yet and fired off a bet of 450,000. Zolotow quickly folded but Seiver did not follow suit. After pondering for over a minute and exclaiming that he "beat nothing" Seiver eventually made a tough but correct call with {k-Hearts}{6-Spades} for bottom pair and scooped the pot.

Farahi Takes Some From Seiver

Nível 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Scott Seiver raised to 200,000 from early position and faced a lone caller in Alexander Farahi from the cutoff.

The flop came {3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and was checked through by both players.

On the {7-Diamonds} Seiver led out for 375,000 and Farahi called.

The {5-Clubs} river put a four liner to a straight as well as three clubs on the board. Seiver bet 275,000 to which Farahi responded with a raise to 950,000. Seiver went into the tank but ultimately, muttering "I was gonna snap it right off", let go of his hand to send a sizable pot Farahi's way.
