A field of 77 entries has emerged thus far and all those players with chips at their disposal have been sent into a scheduled 75-minute dinner break. Lee Wins Three-Way Pot

Nível 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Three ways to the {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, Ben Diebold checked in the big blind and so did Ap Garza in the hijack. Chris Lee on the button bet 20,000 and received a single caller in Garza, who then checked the {j-Spades} turn. Lee now made it 85,000 to go and that won the pot right there.

Wiszowaty and Kil Flip for Stacks

Nível 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a heads-up turn of {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{a-Hearts}, Bradley Kil checked and Philip Wiszowaty bet 80,000. What followed was the check-raise for the size of the pot by Kil and the jam of Wiszowaty, who picked up an instant call by Kil.

Bradley Kil: {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}
Philip Wiszowaty: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}

The {10-Hearts} on the river completed the straight for Kil and he doubled for 335,500.

Seidel Pays Off Jouhkimainen

Nível 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

After defending his big blind, Joni Jouhkimainen bet the pot on the {10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} river for 67,500. Erik Seidel in the cutoff called by tossing in three green T-25,000 chips and then mucked when the Finn revealed the {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Clubs} for the nut straight.

Kronwitter Loses a Couple

Nível 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Action was on the river as the board read {10-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Spades}. From under the gun, John Riordan bet the pot which was 63,500. Jonas Kronwitter had the decision on him from the hijack.

After taking almost the entire 30 seconds he called. Riordan showed the {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{8-Spades}{j-Hearts} for the winning hand.

The next hand the flop read {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{j-Hearts}. Dylan Weisman jammed his remaining 26,500 and Kronwitter called.

Weisman had a pair and a straight draw with the {k-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} while Kronwitter had the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and the river came the {9-Spades} to give Weisman a straight and keep him alive.

Some In; Some Out

Nível 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Brandon Steven entered only a few minutes ago and already ran up some profit, while Tong Li just sat down with a fresh stack. On Li's table is also Emmanuel Sebag, who was ousted earlier on and re-entered. Furthermore, Chris Brewer appears to have been eliminated as well.

Saad Doubles Through Marsico

Nível 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, the stacks of Anthony Marsico and Thomas Saad went into the middle as the latter was the player at risk for 238,500.

Thomas Saad: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Anthony Marsico: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

"I thought you had that kind of hand," Saad said in table chat and vaulted out of his chair. Neither the {5-Hearts} turn nor the {9-Spades} river were a threat and he had reason to celebrate.

Baptista Chips Up in Showdown

Nível 9 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

In a three-bet pot to the {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop with 78,500 in the middle, Duarte Baptista checked and John Riordan checked back. Neither of the two then invested any further chips on the {j-Diamonds} turn and {4-Diamonds} river. Baptista turned over his {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and that won the pot as Riordan tossed his cards into the muck.
