With over 100,000 in the pot on a flop, Shaun Deeb was all-in from early position for a little over 100,000, Scott Ball called in the hijack, and the button player folded.

"Hold on," Deeb replied as he awaited the runout. "Some black card could come."

The fell on the turn.

"That's unfortunately a black card I didn't want to see," Deeb said.

The dealer burned and turned to put down the river onto the felt, completing Ball's flush and eliminating the 2021 winner of this event, as Deeb said his "gg"s and made his exit.

Three ways to the , a late entrant in the small blind bet the pot and then faced the pot-sized raise of Scott Ball and the all-in of Bryce Yockey for 664,000. The small blind called it off and Ball also called to create a three-way showdown.
