Zhu Loses a Chunk to McKeehen

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Joe McKeehen raised, then called a three-bet from Yueqi Zhu from the button.

Heads-up to the {7-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{q-Clubs} flop, McKeehen check-called a bet, then called again when Zhu bet the {4-Hearts} turn.

The river came the {10-Clubs} and McKeehen once again called.

Zhu showed {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for top pair, but McKeehen had woken up with {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} to take the big pot.

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Christoph Kwon raised on the button and Steven Wolansky defended the big blind.

On the {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop, Wolansky checked to Kwon who fired in a bet. Wolansky took a moment before making and a raise and Kwon put in the three-bet. Wolansky thought about it for about five seconds and pushed his cards into the middle.

Moncek Fills Up on the River to Take Lead From McKeehen

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante
Michael Moncek
Michael Moncek

Michael Moncek and Joe McKeehen had already built a big pot heading to the river on a board of {3-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. McKeehen put out another bet on the river before Moncek raised.

McKeehen tanked for a few moments before calling. Moncek flipped over {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for the flopped set that turned into a full house on the river. McKeehen flashed {a-}{k-}, having turned a straight, before mucking to send the monster pot to Moncek, and with it the tournament chip lead.

Ben Ross

Ben Ross raised on the button and Christoph Kwon called in the big blind.

"You didn't three-bet me. That's a good sign," said Ross.

Kwon proceeded to check-call all three streets on the {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades} board and as soon as Kwon put the chips in on the river, Ross said, "I got it," as he tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Spades} for top set of aces.

Ross Has Some Blue Chips

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante

Ben Ross defended his big blind after a preflop raise from Steven Wolansky, then check-called on the {4-Hearts}{q-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop.

Both players checked the {10-Diamonds} on the turn before Ross led out when the river came the {q-Clubs}.

Wolansky went into the tank for several moments, constantly shuffling his chips in his hand.

"You know what they say, think long, think wrong," Ross said.

Wolansky elected to call and mucked when Ross showed {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

Ross collected the pot, which included some 100,000 blue chips. "I got some blue chips!" he yelled as he got to stack them up.

Fred Lavassani
Fred Lavassani

Fred Lavassani raised from under the gun. Action folded around to Ben Ross in the big blind who called to see the {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop.

Ross checked, then raised when Lavassani bet. Lavassani called as the turn came the {9-Hearts}.

Ross bet again before Lavassani moved all in for 250,000. Ross asked for a count before sticking in the chips to call.

Fred Lavassani: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Ben Ross: {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Lavassani was ahead with his jacks and finished with a full house as the river came the {9-Clubs} to secure the double up.

Lavassani Finally Wakes Up with a Hand

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 0 ante
Fred Lavassani
Fred Lavassani

Fred Lavassani raised in the cutoff and Christoph Kwon three-bet the button. Lavassani responded with another raise and they got the chips in the middle. Lavassani was at risk for 225,000.

Fred Lavassani: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Christoph Kwon: {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Lavassani had Kwon dominated but the {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop was a sweat as Kwon picked up a flush draw. The {10-Spades} turn and {q-Hearts} river were safe for Lavassani though as he pulled in the pot.

McKeehen Takes From Moncek

Nível 28 : 60,000/120,000, 0 ante

Joe McKeehen raised from middle position before Michael Moncek reraised from the small blind.

McKeehen called to see the {3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} flop and called a bet. Moncek led out again on the {7-Spades} turn and McKeehen once again called.

The river was the {3-Spades} and both players checked. Moncek flashed an ace but McKeehen had {j-Spades}{10-Clubs} for a pair of tens to take down the pot.
