Nível 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Vikram Vijay
Vikram Vijay

After a small double, Vikram Vijay pushed in the last of his chips, about 500,000, and was called by Joe Chang.

Vikram Vijay: {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Joe Chang: {k-Hearts}{10-Spades}

The board ranout with the {6-Clubs}{a-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Hearts} which was no help for Vijay and as his deep final table run came to an end.

Big Call Leads to Big Double for Colquhoun

Nível 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Vikram Vijay shipped his not-so-short stack of ~4,000,000 in late position. Action folded back to Shaun Colquhoun in the small blind, who quickly called off his stack, putting himself at risk of elimination.

Shaun Colquhoun: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Vikram Vijay: {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

The {4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} board was of no help to Vijay, and Colquhoun was awarded a massive double-up and took the chip lead once again.

Gonzalo Gonzalez pushed all in for 750,000 from middle position, it folded to Vikram Vijay in the big blind who called.

Gonzalo Gonzalez: {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Vikram Vijay: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The flop came {9-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. The turn was the {6-Spades} to launch Vijay into the lead and put Gonzales on the brink of elimination. His exit was confirmed with the {3-Hearts} river, bringing the table down to just six players after about an hour of seven-handed play.

Chang Gets Big Value on the River

Nível 29 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

On a heads up flop of {q-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} Gonzalo Gonzalez led out into his opponent oe Chang for 200,000, who called.

The turn brought in the {j-Diamonds}, to which Gonzalez continued for another 300,000. But this time Chang raised to 700,000, to which Gonzalez called.

On the {9-Hearts} river, Chang led out again for an additional 700,000, and after a few moments in the tank, Gonzalez called.

Chang tabled his {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a turned set, and Gonzalez mucked in disgust.

Frost Limp-Shoves on Gonzalez

Nível 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Wyatt Frost
Wyatt Frost

Wyatt Frost limped from under the gun for 100,000 and Vikram Vijay bumped it up to 210,000 from the cutoff. Joe Chang came along from the button but then Gonzalo Gonzalez three-bet from the big blind to make it 710,000 to go.

With the action back on Frost, he quickly moved all-in for 2,100,000 more. Vijay and Chang got out of the way and Gonzalez went into the tank. After a count Gonzalez let it go and Frost dragged the pot.

"Cowboys," said Frost.

Colquhoun Rivers Survival

Nível 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The action was picked up on the flop as the board read {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} with three players in the hand. From the button, Shaun Colquhoun moved all in for a bit over a million, Vikram Vijay folded the small blind and Joe Chang called in the big blind.

Chang, with top pair, had the lead with the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and a chance to send Colquhoun away who held the {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for a lower pair and a flush draw.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} blank and the river was the {q-Diamonds} to connect the flush for Colquhoun and keep him in the mix.
