Dumont Binks the River

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Nicolas Dumont raised it up from under the gun and Philipe Pizzari Pinto defended from the big blind. The flop fell {j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and both players checked to the {10-Spades} on the turn.

That seemed to spur the action as within a few short moments, the two players had all of their chips in the middle with Dumont at risk for 2,530,000. Dumont held {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} and required some help against Pinto's {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}.

"Ace!" the French rail was cheering for, but it was the {9-Spades} on the river. It did the same job as Dumont made a straight and doubled his stack.

Dragana Lim to Use WSOP Main Event Winnings to Create Animal Foundation

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Dragana Lim
Dragana Lim

Dragana Lim was the last woman standing in the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event, and her winnings won't go toward a fancy home or some bling. Instead, she's going to use the money — every penny of it — to build her own animal foundation.

"If I win $80,000 or $8 million, it's all going to the animal foundation," Lim told PokerNews during the first break on Sunday. "My husband and I were fortunate enough to retire last year, so we want to give back."

Lim entered Sunday's Day 6 session with just north of 5 million chips and had built her stack up over 10 million early in the day. But she ran into a rough patch and was eventually eliminated in 64th place just before the dinner break. She received $95,700, all of which will go toward her charitable endeavors.

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Jack Oliver raised to 320,000 from the early position before Jesse Lonis three-bet to 1,000,000 from the button. Andreas Kniep called in the big blind but Oliver folded.

They both checked through the {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop and the {q-Hearts} on the turn to the {5-Hearts} on the river. Kniep checked for the final time and then folded to the 1,300,000 bet of Lonis.

Lococo Rises; Dwek Drops

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

On the tail end of a bigger pot between Norbert Koh in the big blind and Jonathan Dwek in an early position, the former checked the {k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} turn and Dwek bet 1.1 million. Koh then check-raised to 2.4 million and that won the pot right there.

One hand later, Dwek raised to 325,000 and Alejandro Lococo called, as did Joshua Field in the small blind. The {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop was checked to Lococo and his bet worth 435,000 was called only by Field. After the {8-Diamonds} turn, Field check-called for another 1,020,000 and the {6-Spades} on the river was checked.

Field tabled the {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for the top pair but Lococo had that beat with {4-Diamonds}{4-Spades} for a set of fours.

Dobric Bursts Into Celebration Once Again

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Matija Dobric raised it up from the cutoff and Joshua Remitio called from the big blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Remitio check-called a bet from Dobric.

The turn brought the {5-Spades} and Remitio checked again. Dobric fired another barrel into a pot of 2,500,000 and Remitio check-raised all in. Dobric quickly called off his stack of 2,740,000 and the cards were tabled.

Remitio turned a straight with {8-Hearts}{7-Spades} but Dobric was live with {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. The dealer paused before delivering the {6-Hearts} on the river. It was a delayed reaction but Dobric burst into a frenzy with his rail as he doubled up once again. Remitio graciously passed over the chips and congratulated Dobric on the nice hand.

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Chance Kornuth raised to 325,000 from the cutoff and Jeffrey Trudeau three-bet shoved for 1,890,000. Kornuth was the lone caller.

Nível 29 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Breno Campelo
Breno Campelo

In a four-way pot on a flop of {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, Ramon Colillas bet 400,000 and only Breno Campelo in the big blind called.

Campelo checked on the {3-Clubs} turn and Colillas checked back. Campelo checked again on the {2-Spades} river and Colillas put out two big yellow chips for a bet of 2,000,000. Campelo entered the tank and thought out loud.

"I can't find a value bet," he said. "Ace-queen? You would have bet the turn."

Campelo announced a call Colillas turned over {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} for a pair of queens to win the pot and to leave his opponent with crumbs.

"Nice hand," Campelo said quietly as he mucked.
