Who Will Claim Victory in The $10,000 Razz Championship?

Benny Glaser and Everett Carlton
Benny Glaser and Everett Carlton

After three hard-fought days on the green felt in Event #78: $10,000 Razz Championship, the initial field of 109 has been narrowed down to just two — Benny Glaser and Everett Carlton. The two weren't quite able to finish their heads-up battle last night, which saw Carlton mount something of a comeback after being on the brink of elimination. Carlton will bring 2,570,000 in chips to battle with against Glaser's 3,990,000. They will be playing for a $274,693 first-place prize in addition to a coveted gold bracelet.

This event marks the fourth final table of the series for Glaser, which includes a runner-up finish in the $25,000 H.O.R.S.E. back in October. If Glaser is able to secure a victory today — he will add a fourth gold bracelet to his collection.

Carlton is a longstanding tournament grinder who has cashes in the WSOP dating back to 2005. Carlton has already amassed a dozen cashes during this year's series alone, but a win for Carlton would be his first gold bracelet.
