First Blood to Hastings

Nível 24

Brian Hastings: {x-}{x-} / {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} / {x-}
Yuval Bronshtein: {x-}{x-} / {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{j-Clubs} / {x-}

Yuval Bronshtein brought it in showing an eight and called when Hastings completed with a nine.

Both players checked on fourth before Hastings check-called a bet on fifth. The latter took the lead on sixth and led out with a bet, which Broshtein called.

Hastings bet again on seventh and this time it did the trick as Bronshtein released.

Day 4 of Event #73: $10,000 Stud Hi-Lo Championship will see the final four players battle it out on the green felt for a WSOP gold bracelet and $352,958 first-place prize that goes along with it.

Yuval Bronshtein is currently in pole position with 3.32 million in chips. Bronshtein will be seeking his second bracelet of the series and third overall after winning Event#12: $1,500 Limit Hold'em back in October.

Bronshtein will have plenty to contend with, however, as his remaining opponents consist of Ian O'Hara, Scott Seiver, and Brian Hastings — all of whom boast impressive poker resumes as well.

O'Hara enters second in chips and is the only remaining player without a bracelet, but the Florida native has plenty of deep runs and nearly $3.5 million in live-tournament earnings according to The Hendon Mob.

Seiver will be seeking his fourth gold bracelet, with his most recent victory coming from 2019 after winning the $10,000 Razz Championship. Seiver also boasts over $23 million in live-tournament earnings according to The Hendon Mob.

Rounding out the final four is Hastings, who enters last in chips just behind Seiver. The mixed-game specialist already has four bracelets to his name from four different games and will be looking to join the ranks of other five-time bracelet winners such as Allen Cunningham, Jason Mercier and Shaun Deeb.

Play is set to begin at 2 p.m. local time and continue until a champion is crowned. Play will resume on Level 24 (80,000/160,000 limits with a 20,000 ante).
