Colpoys and Rapaski Find Favorable Runouts

Nível 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

A completed board of {j-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} was spread across the table with Dan Colpoys and Dustin Dirksen heads-up in the blinds. Colpoys turned over {10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for jack-high straight and the third low. Dirksen tabled {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} to chop the low hand. Colpoys collected three-quarters of the 270,000 chip pot.

At another table, Anthony Ajlouny and Ryan Rapaski went heads-up to a flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Rapaski fired out a bet from the small blind and Ajlouny pushed all in for just a few chips more.

"I've got nothing. I was just firing away," Rapaski announced as he still made the call. Rapaski turned over {a-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades} and was up against a set of nines of Ajlouny with {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

The {2-Spades} landed on the turn which got Rapask's hopes up. "That's a good turn card." The river was the {3-Clubs} and Rapaski made a wheel to eliminate Ajlouny.

Vengrin Wins Three Quarters

Nível 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

In a five-way limped pot, the dealer spread the flop of {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Matt Vengrin was the first to toss in a bet of 15,000 in early position. An opponent on his left called along with Felipe Ramos in the small blind.

The turn brought the {7-Clubs} and Ramos checked to Vengrin who bet the pot of 75,000. His opponent stuck in the last of his 71,000 chips and Ramos contemplated but folded.

Vengrin showed {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and was up against his opponent's {a-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. The {q-Spades} completed the board and Vengrin earned three quarters of the pot, leaving his opponent on the short stack.

Werman Suvives All-in Versus Engel

Nível 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The action was picked up on a flop of {q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Spades} with Louis Werman who checked and Marco Johnson checked behind. That prompted Ari Engel to bet 32,000 chips. Johnson got out of the way and Werman made the call.

The hands were turned face-up and it was the {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} held by Werman versus the {a-Spades}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Hearts} held by Engel.

The dealer dealt the {3-Clubs} turn card and Werman jumped ahead with a nut straight and wheel for the nut low.

The river card was the {k-Clubs} and that made it official, and Werman was pushed the scooped pot.

Nível 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Florian Fuchs raised it up from the hijack and Jordan Siegel defended from the big blind. The flop fell {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Siegel check-called a bet of 20,000 from Fuchs.

The turn brought the {2-Clubs} and Siegel checked again. Fuchs slid out a bet of 35,000 and Siegel stuck around to see the {j-Clubs} on the river. Siegel checked for the third time and Fuchs fired a third barrel of 55,000. Siegel thought for a minute but decided to send his cards to the muck.

Chang Quarters Mizrachi

Nível 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Robert Mizrachi opened to 10,000 from under the gun and Danny Chang raised the pot to 35,000 from the small blind. Mizrachi called and they saw a flop of {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades}. Chang led out with a bet of 15,000 and Mizrachi called.

The turn brought the {8-Diamonds} and Chang tossed in another bet of 20,000. Mizrachi still called and the {6-Hearts} completed the board. Chang threw in a bet of 75,000 this time and Mizrachi quickly called. Chang turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for an ace-high flush and the nut-low. Mizrachi managed to chop the low with {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} but only received a quarter of his chips back.
