Kuwahata Spikes the River to Leave Farnes With Crumbs

Nível 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Yusuke Kuwahata was all in for 525,000 and up against Jeffrey Farnes to his immediate left.

Yusuke Kuwahata: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Jeffrey Farnes: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Both players paired the king on a flop of {3-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, but Farnes was ahead with his ace-kicker. The {2-Spades} on the turn didn't help Kuwahata, but the {q-Spades} on the river improved Kuwahata to two pair.

Farnes could do nothing but lower and shake his head as he was left with around 100,000.
