The cards are officially in the air in Event #62: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha 8 or Better.
The current number of entrants is 231 with the total expected to be much, much higher. The tables are set up to accommodate that increase, so the tournament director has instructed the dealers to begin dealing with three or more players at their table, which has most tables beginning play shorthanded with only three, four, or five players.
The number of entrants has reached only 279 entrants thus far. Additionally, the short-handed start for most tables seems to have slowed down play from the start.
